This collection sounds interesting! My prelim list :wishlist: Sparks of Romance l/s Tribalist l/s Modest Blush m/b Sweet Sentiment m/b Gentrified f/l Dark Majesty f/l All the lip and eye bags :lol:

They're throwing every formula there is into this collection. Granted it's the colour collection and sets, but you've got cremesheen and mineralize gloss, regular and mineralize and ED shadows, pressed pigments and loose pigments, it's just a mishmash of formulas. There's no consistency, no cohesion. It makes no sense.

There's too much happening here. It's total overkill.

Nothing's appealing to me besides Rebel in LE packaging, but I'm not even a packaging person so I'm sure I'll be able to resist.

MAC's Holiday collection is usually composed of several different sub-sets.

Holiday Collection seems to have:

1. Heirloom Mix - a Color collection - a traditional collection - individual lipsticks, cremesheen glasses, pressed pigments, fluidlines, blushes, nail lacquers, etc.

2. A Palette Collection : Viva Glam I-VI lip palette, eyeshadow x 8 palettes (plum, smokey, nude), 2 face palettes, some containers white, some black

3. Keepsakes collection - a Gift collection - sets in a special container
-- Coordinated Sets : 3 piece lip sets (red, coral, nude) (liner + lipstick + lipgloss) in white bag, 3 piece eye sets (smokey, brown, plum) (ED shadow duo + liner + mascara) in black bag, 3 piece lip and eye set (lipstick + lipglass + mineralize eye quad) in a bag
-- Multiples of same item sets : 4 piece cremesheen glosses (warm, neutral, and cool) in a black box, 5 piece pigment sets (one warm, one cool) in a white box, 4 and 5 piece brush sets in a black or a white bag, etc.

Generally the Color Collection comes out in October, and the Party Palette and Gift collections come out later.

I'm not usually one for kits and sets and palettes. I prefer to buy individual items i like from the Color collection, although i did get a pigment set and a gloss set in 2012 in those cute little hat boxes - i may get a pigment set from this collection...

Just Jewels nail polish will be mine, by the description im pumped so far!! One lipstick, hot pink ofcourse! the CSG sound amazing, maybe tawo of those, both mineral blushes!! I want the cream cameo palette, and cpl pressed pigments!! I want more, but of the top of my head that is what really stands out to me.

*Modest Blush - light baby salmon pink
*Sweet Sentiment - rosy pink

*Gentrified: brown and bronze pearl

*Romantic Overture - clear base with sparkles
*Ceremonial (Matte) - hot pink with sparkles
*Social Seasons - violet with blue sparkles

*Just Jewels (Amplified) - light pink with silvery rainbow pearl

*Nostalgic (Frost) - soft light salmon beige
*Noble Descent (Frost) - pearly smokey mauve
*Noblesse Oblige (Frost) - frosty wood
*Modern Majesty /Frost) - dark brown base with green pearls
*Victorian Plum (Frost) - plum w/ violet pearls

And atleast one ED bag, maybe more depending on swatches!! A palette!! and the VG riri2 lip bag!! never have had a lipstick palette but the VG palette sounds enticing. sooo much sounds great, but swatches always change my lists
