I snatched the brown eye bag for $33.60 at my MAC store. I am so glad I waited it out to see the sets in person instead of ordering online.

Terrible lighting so this pic does not do these piggies justice but I did this look today: lithe on the tear duct, English gilt on the lid, dark brown in the crease and just a touch of pretty it up in the outer corner and on the bottom lash line. I am in :eyelove: ... I'm tempted to get another gold set just for English gilt
Girl you best stop :haha: lol! Damn that is gorgeous on you!

SO I am curious and would love to hear if anyone else (esp. Canadian) got their pigment sets without packaging!
Would you mind taking a picture of how it came Odelia? I know what you mean by your description but could visualize it better if I saw a pic. I think I'd send it back but not before seeing if you could pick it up at a counter with the packaging you wanted.

Actually, never mind. That's just odd that they wouldn't protect the outer special packaging with something, anything... even just wrapped in the packing paper.

Thank you for posting your swatches so quickly! That bronze is gorgeous and the rose and pink is even more beautiful than I thought it would be. I'm trying to pretend I didn't see the gold set because I said I would only get two lol.

The top photo is how my pigments came from MAC. The bottom photos are the ones that came from Nordstrom. So, no "outer box" but the packaging is all there. All orders from the US.

Also, all the typical black/gray paper was in the box too. So these aren't just sitting loose in the box--there is the paper padding.

mine came from Mac but were packaged like the bottom photo. No outter box, but in those plastic baggies in the gift bag in the big black mac box...lots of the usual black stuffing packaging Mac uses.

it's way to hard for me to choose. I have favorite pigments in each of those sets. But I feel like the Pink + Rose plus either The Biege + Gold or the Copper set are probably good purchases. and I've noticed that a little goes a long way. These mini sizes are WAY more than enough.

Thanks. I've already ordered the Bronze set and I'm going to get the Pink + Rose set from Nordies next time they have a good ebates/mr. rebates cash back deal lol.

Thanks everyone for sharing info about how your pigments arrived packaging wise. So yeah! Seems like it's the norm to not have an outer box. Mine didn't even come with any black stuffing paper in the gift bag. Just the pigment box in a baggie like in the pic posted by [@]patentg33k[/@]. I've got my pigment box sitting on my vanity looking all pretty for now. But I tend to rotate my stuff and when I store them I like to keep them in their original boxes to prevent damage and dust. Personally, I still find it a bit strange but, oh well, it is what it is. Must rein in my ocd

Okay, I am definitely getting this set! It is gorgeous on you!
You should. I definitely recommend it. English Gilt is EVERYTHING. I applied it over Too Faced Glitter Glue and it went on like butter. Deep Brown needed a little more blending (I used it over UDPP), but I just used a fleshtoned shade to blend out the top edge and that worked beautifully.

ETA: I really like the fact that (on my skintone, at least) this kit does a complete eye look. I had the highlight, matte crease color, lid color, darker color for the outer third. The only additional color I used was a matte beige as an allover base and blending color.

I ordered Rebel - I know it's perm but I've had my eyes on it for a while and OMG GLITTERY PACKAGING!!! My birthday is 24th November and I asked my parents for the Studio Brush set and for other pieces of Heirloom Mix Colour from others.
