Petticoat is my favourite MSF. I owned Stereo Rose but sold it off because it didn't rock my world like I thought it would.

By the way, I wore Cheeky Bronze today - OMG that colour is gorgeous in the sunshine!!!!

I'm not sure why I've been afraid to try it...I think I do know now though. I have Lancome's new oscillation mineral makeup (it was like 49 dollars!). I bought it the day it came out. In the store, it was beautiful under the crappy lighting. When I went outside though, I didn't feel like I had any coverage at all. Mineral makeup seems to have been the hot craze these last few years and it does nothing for me. MUA's always tell me to stop putting so much face makeup on, my skin isn't bad enough for it...but I like to cover EVERY imperfection I have, and mineral makeup just doesn't seem to cut it for me.

You should definitely try one! But with the right brush like the 187.

Gasp! A blue purple lipstick?
I've always said that while pinky purples like Violetta are great on me, I can't do blue purples, but I may have to try Go For It!
Come on, July!

I'm fortunate; I found a mineral foundation, "Babyface," at Pureluxecosmetics that matches my NW15 face beautifully, is inexpensive, doesn't break out or irritate my skin, and covers wonderfully.
Even my mother, who is not given to lavish compliments, remarked that "It doesn't even look like you're wearing foundation; it just looks like you have really pretty skin."
Keep experimenting around; you may find "your" foundation, too.

As a lover of Violetta l/s (one of my HG shades) and a lover of blue purples and blue/true violets, maybe this lippie could be a Violet Trance or MUFE #92 type of shade. Come on, give us a proper violet lipstick, MAC!

Violetta is my favorite Mac lipstick along with Show Orchid! I am so annoyed that Violetta is sold out online. I don't know when I'll shake my laziness and go pick one up. The one I have is almost broken in half and that pisses me off b/c there's plenty left.

I'm seriously going to have a hard time limiting myself to a few things in this collection. Maybe I should start saving now lol

I agree with everyone that MSF's look great when wet
smiles.gif

But to a certain degree - once I did a heavy hand with Redhead MSF and it was not pretty!

You could melt it into a jar and use it with a lip brush. There is a tut in the tut section on how to do it.

I would think that wearing a MSF wet would make it look extra frosty which is not something I really want...especially if it allready has a mettalic finish like shimpagne. But perhaps it is really pretty with the more unshiny ones but I don't think I have any of those ones haha.

No such thing as being too pale for any bright color.

I tried with Perfect Topping and found it way too frosty! And PT is a subtle MSF...
