I had not tried any MES until now because I had heard such bad things about them. (Well, and I'm wary of mineralized products in general.)

But I agree, the formula is fantastic! I went back Sunday and bought two more (Togetherness and Blue My Mind) because I was so impressed with the two I tried out. These are very wearable -- the texture is great, they blend well and they are fairly pigmented. Not at all what I was expecting!

I also picked up Band of Roses, my first mineralized blush, on Sunday. And I'm trying to resist going back for Happy Together! My MA used it on me when she did my makeup Thursday, and it was so pretty.

i am regretting not getting blue my mind, mianly because i want to try the new formula of the mes - although i know that is silly because i know i love the style black mes the most - so potentially this would not get enough use

Jazzed is not orange, it's peachy pink.

You're just weird.

I don't think it's like that at all. It's very pretty though, a must have imo.

Hmm but I think as long as you only get one mes to compare the formulas that would not be that strange, at least not for me...

*lol* you have company fighting the lemmings

The hype finally got me too and now I regret not getting msf by candlelight and lipstick jazzed. Sold out everywhere in germany as far as I know and nordstrom does not ship to germany
ssad.gif
So not beeing able to get them...

I've fairly pigmented lips and on me Jazzed looks very orange

. I prefer Ever Hip on the peachy pink side!

I was crazy about the new MES, specially Togerteness and Blue my Mind. But after I notice that I've dupes of very color, I had to pass.

What would you say the dupes to Togetherness and Blue My Mind are? TIA

have you ever owned Warmed? They are simmilar however Warmed turns Orangey on me.

The good thing about Comfort is that the shimmer in it is muted compared to other MSF's. I have Gold Deposit and it is nothing like Comfort. Gold deposit has a bronzey/goldish finish but Comfort is just like a matter bronzer.

I feel that the blue in the centre of blue my mind is a very unique colour. I used to have this no name palette that had the exact same shade of blue as that one and i used to love so i had to get BMM ME.

My guess is that it's hormones.

Happy Birthday!

I'm 46 too and I loves it!

I hope you have a great day!

My perming days are over, even if my hair goes straight again ...
Back to topic: My little black box should be here any time now, and I'm really eager to see Go for It.
What liner has everyone been using with that one?
I have a Grape liner, but I'm thinking that would be too too too purple.

If you have Plum liner by MAC you might want to give that a try.

I think the liner depends on the look you want - you could use a light liner like Spice for a brown effect.

Or you could try Plum or go dark like Currant or Vino or Nightmoth - I love this lippie w/Vino and gloss on top - blend the l/s into the Vino liner.

Or no liner at all. Just the lippie. Experiment girl!

Um, This is sad.

I broke down and purchased ITG MES yesterday!

I did this after I swore!!! I wasn't going to buy anymore MAC until December or Jan!

This is a nice shadow and I can use a lot of other shades with it.

Geez, I am so hooked on MAC!

WHY WHY WHY???

So now my list reads:

2 Stereo Rose MSF's
ITG e/s
4 lippies: ILILT, GFI, Jazzed, ASUP
BOR blush

Plush all the other stuff I've purchased from MAC during the past 2 months!

Enough already! hehehe

Have you tried to put a lip-primer underneath? Like the Mac Prep&Prime Lip? Or fill your lips with a liner and then the lipstick on top? Maybe these could help.

I'm wearing Little Bit of Sunshine today. I like how it looks on me... Also wearing On the Scene & used my new Haute & Naughty mascara. I don't think it's as bad as people say but it's nothing special. As with all mascara I've come across.

I am sending Love to Love back. Basically, I found dupes for it all except for the brown color, the brown color is actually a cool toned grey brown which doesn't go with the other two colors at all.
I am not opposed to mixing warm and cool colors on the eye, but this brown will do nothing but turn grey on me, I know it, Amber Lights with a grey crease is just not going to work.
