In real life, the grey and purple are very different. I saw everything yesterday, and that one was a total surprise to me. i never even thought about it when i saw the previews. the grey is buttery! actually all the shadows are. the purple is a pretty purple blue. MAC did good revamping the MES. they are smooth (reminds me of MSFNs) and free of all that "obnoxious" glitter.

i wasn't too impressed with the MSFs. stereo rose is pretty light on my skin and i don't see it as something to hype about for dark brown skin. its not for me, but have fun hauling it! if anyone needs one and can't get one, please let me know, my MUA can hold one for me if i let her know in advance. i use paypal.

That blue is HOT! it looked familiar to me as well, like contrast and the dark blue in one of the holiday 09 sets . i really want to get it and i am trying to convince myself i need the white shadow since i don't own one.

making it easy is my favorite. just beautiful. cool calm and collected, the green one is calling my name, but i don't wear too many greens. i try, but i am good with what i have. in the groove was a dud, love to love as well. i thought i would like them, but no. they had a been there, done that kind of feel.

Does anyone think that Jazzed l/s is very similar to Dressmaker^2 from Pret-a-Papier? Jazzed looks a bit more pinkish in some pics but almost looks as orange as Dressmaker^2 in other pics. In other words...am I justified in owning both?

How are people finding Hang Loose? I am tempted by it because I want a lilac blush but I don't want the pink side of it at all (I have SO many dupes for that sort of colour.)

I want it to actually look lilac though, and from the swatches it seems to err on the side of Pink.

I wish they would just hurry up and release one that is lilac all over!

The launch of In the Groove in Germany is a little stressfull - no surprise there, the last holiday collection was a true nightmare.

At first, it would be launched on the 1st, now on the 8th... but the collection is online today! I was working and, when I finally saw it, Stereo Rose was sold out

The worst part is that neither the counters or the Pro Store reserve products here. I hope I can go at 10am when it finally launches!

Oh, and about powder products that don't go bad... I recently put in the trash some Clinique eyeshadows with 7,8 years... The texture was chalky and the color payoff ridiculous!

And I keep my makeup in a dry area, take really care. So, unfortunatelly, at least some eyeshadows can go bad.

So I was going to make the hour or so drive to my free standing store next thursday to get my goodies I called them told them Im weighing my options would I be able to phone order and them ship to me she said 7.00 I said is that flat rate? she said yes so 7.00 over spending 20.00 in gas i'm all for it she said I couldnt pay till in the grooves release day so I will be calling at 10am thursday to pay for my goodies. I'll be anxiously awaiting there arrival when they come.

I don't have Dressmaker, but I've compared it to Ever Hip and it's quite similar to Jazzed.
