If this is true.. what is going in with MAC that they ruin a fab MSF to release another version of the same MSF with just a per mille change in color over and over again?

But wait.. maybe some customers have complained about too much product in pigments err.. too much pigmentation and brightness in older MSFs.

well i am hoping that they had a 'bad one' at her update!

it better be the same one as before!

I don't have the original so I can't compare the new vs. old Stereo Rose. Wasn't there a debate about the old vs new Petticoat too awhile back?

I hope Stereo Rose is the same! I just bought one from a member here so I can compare the 2 of them when I buy the new one =) Hopefully they are the same...BTW and a little OT but I am going to Miami the 12th of July and I was wondering if any of you guys know of a MAC store near Aventura? I really want to go the day I arrive to see if I can buy some things from this collection. Hopefully they won't be Out of stock when I get there!

Aren't those discussion about "being the same" all quite hard to have, since each MSF is in fact unique on some level?

Every MSF that has been re-released so far was the same as the first time. So I am sure Stereo Rose will be the same MSF as well!

Why changing a winning product??

i think you are right, just because if its not the same product, it should have a different name if the color is so off but then again we've seen this before with the rose romance bp

to me it was completely different from liberty of london.

my realistic side says i dont need stereo rose, but the mac addict in me says I MUST GET IT. and guess whos gonna win

and then ill wait for lightscapade and hopefully i can get over the MSFs. they are a sickness i tell you. i lost my perfect topping and stalked the swap and sale threads til i found it. i lost it a year ago and it has been eating at me since! <3 perfect topping.

TBH, even if Stereo Rose is a lighter, I'll still probably get it. Since I'm so pale, I have no doubt that it will still show up just fine. And, at any rate, like Inspired Blue said, each MSF is unique, so I'm not too worried.

The whole Rose Romance BP fiasco was due to the rose imprint making it nearly impossible to get any pigmentation. But the color itself was still the same.

I would actually like a little bit lighter stereo rose as I have to use a really light hand with the original one. Otherwise it gets a bit to dark and obvious looking.

I agree with Inspired Blue that MSFs can vary so differently from another. I have two petticoats and they both look different due to the veining.

well i'm not too upset, because i'm a fair-skinned gal and it's probably be better if it were lighter, anyway!

though i kinda wish i could get one of the original releases & compare them...
