Nothing wrong Spunky with that. I just perplexed at why the Stereo Rose looks so different. I've even thought maybe the first pic we saw on the one blog that the camera/white balance might be off but now we see it twice that brownish color. Its very odd.

it's sad they changed it so much, the original was a gorgeous colour but now it's kinda bland and similar to so many other ones... boo

I'm with all of you! I'm beyond frustrated about the new Stereo Rose.

I've really wanted it, of course in the old version, for such a long time now. When we heard it was being re-promoted I was overjoyed, and now after pictures...I'm just sad. I'm still hoping that something's "off" in the photos we've seen, but I'm not holding my breath. I may pass it completely now, what a huge bummer.

Back to searching for an old version I won't have to sell a body part for I suppose. Blah!

Bad News: I'm losing interest in this collection. Even Stereo Rose is looking like a pass for me. It just doesn't look as vibrant. Hope I'm wrong on this. Blushes look just like Too Fabulous blushes and I have almost all of those.

Good News: Togetherness trio! The purple color looks like Amethyst eye shadow! I recently made the mistake of letting my mother try this color. Now she's in love with it. I keep telling her that it is discontinued. Maybe this color (Togetherness) will appease her although I'm sure she will complain about the other colors in the trio. But here's hoping.

Now that I've seen the photos, it doesn't look like this collection is going to do as much damage to my budget as I'd feared.
I'm not into MSFs, and none of the eyeshadows really appeal to me.
I am definitely getting Go for It lipstick, though, and I'm now considering Chillin' gloss, since it looks a little like Snowscene from Chill, a while back.

Yeah this collection isn't as scary as one would think. I am sitting content and happy at my 2 items.

i'm honestly kind of pissed that they'd 'repromote' stereo rose if it doesn't even look like the original stereo rose.

i, too, am hoping that it's just been a weird batch that people got these promo pieces from, but i'm not holding my breath either.

maybe i'll just be love to love for me! and maybe a blush or two - i haven't gotten any mineral blushes since color craft... but i bought both from pret a papier plus hipness and marine life, plus tenderling and so sweet so easy a few months ago... so i probably am good on blushes for a while.

This was one of the msf's that i've been coveting since i got into MAC...i don't know why they even bothered calling it the Stereo Rose. Boo MAC, this is un-cool!

If this comes out on the first of July I think I'll just get the MSF's I want and get the rest when it comes out in the US...or to buy it all and then have my spending money for other US things.

I'm quite happy exams are over and this and if I should get extensions before I go on holiday are my current biggest issues! I'm enjoying not having to worry for the first time in my life haha
