I wore my Petticoat couple of days ago, I haven't touched it for atleast a year...still wasn't too crazy about it but I cannot point the reason why though. On the other hand By Candlelight has been wonderful, I might like it even more in summer when I get a bit darker so it's perfect for highlighting!

well I wanted all four msfs but if stereo rose is red it means it's scary so I'm not getting it.If it is similar to by candlelight i'm not getting it either so ...
I'll definately get comfort to use to bronen up areas of my face and by candlelight to highlight and maybe petticoat if by swatching it I can see myself using it as a blush(i'm nc20).The thing is I'm trying to get very few things from each collection cause I recently started out with makeup and there are so many things i want from the permanent line.(first thing being brushes which I know are seriously important and i'm saving up for a brush at a time

This collection looks so beautiful from those pics! I really think it is one of the prettiest collections I've seen in a while, and I like that there are so few re-promotes. I love all the lipsticks, though I think I'll stick w/ only a couple. Chillin' cremesheen is gorg! And the e/s,

developed exclusively for sephora my ass! this has been on OPIs website FOREVER!!! this is hardly new by any means.

its cool and all, but just like with anything online, colours aren't always the truest to form based on computer settings and all.

sorry, just wanted to say.

Here's a question:

I've got Rhapsody in Two from Too Fabulous. I use it as a subtle blush (NC15) and as a highlighter.

Will By Candlelight be pretty much the same except sheerer? This collection will be the first time I'm buying MSFs and I'd like to know what to expect.

Purple lipstick does look great. Wonder how Chillin' creamsheen looks on the lips.

I do! Comfort is browner and more matte than Warmed. I mainly use Comfort to create depth and put in right at the back of the cheekbones with By Candlelight on the apples. Warmed has a nice sheen to it, giving you a very healthy glowy look. Warmed has more peachy/gold/champagne color to it (sorry I had to put so many colors there as it's hard to actually pinpoint the one color that makes it look different). I really love using Warmed as a blush, but I don't think I'll use Comfort as a blush any time soon. Just my personal opinion! Now, on to the swatches...

COMFORT - WARMED

Look at the amazing sheen that Warmed has, I swear it's not metallic looking at all.

You can see how much browner Comfort is, even without the light reflecting off Warmed's sheen.

Hope that helped some of you! Off to post these in the swatch thread now.

Wow, Warmed is gorgeous! Look at the sheen! Can they work as bronzers, too?

Here's a few pics of Comfort and Warmed swatched on NW45 skin. They are not all that clear but I hope it helps.

I know. Warmed is

. I don't think Warmed will work as a bronzer though, it has too much sheen for that purpose. I suppose Comfort may work as a bronzer, but I already have Refined Golden so I never use MSFs as bronzers.

^ Thank you!!! Yeah, I agree you don't want too much sheen in your bronzers.

Winnie, any blushes/MSFs are calling you from this collection?

Thank you so much dreamer246 & ARmakeupjunkie !! The pics were so helpful and gave me the boost I needed. Ok, so I've decided NO Comfort for me. The pictures definitely show that they are different, color and texture wise. Although, I think that Warmed is the prettiest of the two, for sure.

I think if I was looking for a gigantic bronzer I would get Comfort, but I already have a bronzer that works great for me. Plus, I have mineralize blushes that are a natural bronzey shade (ex. Earth to Earth & Light Over Dark). Being the blush whore that I am, I'm a tad bit disappointed, but my bank acc. & my hubby thank you for helping me cross that MSF from my list.

I just checked the swatches of Rhapsody in Two. Hehe.

If you can wear this as subtle blush, you definitely can do the same with By Candlelight. I think By Candlelight has a touch of gold.

Here are the swatches by Karla.

Blushes, not so much. I think New Vibe looks the best, and Band Of Roses looks pretty too but if I want a dramatic color I think my MAC Pro blushes are good enough for that purpose. So I may pass the blushes after all, since I'm trying to save money. As for MSFs, I already have all of them except Stereo Rose, which I will be getting.

Earth To Earth didn't excite me (I ended up swapping it), but Light Over Dark is gorgeous.
