I dunno...lol. I also live in a basement and theres a lot more moisture down here....that might have an effect.

Though, that "texture change" might've been me just being too paranoid to pick up too much product and possbily using it all up before they repromoted for me to get a back-up! :p I swatched heavily at the counter with my fingers and don't do this with my own, so for all I know it could be my imagination!

Mineralize products will only go bad if someone takes poor care of it, really. Like you stated, using the same brush and never cleaning it will generally always lead to contamination and over time the product will go bad.

Also, most MSF's veining change as you go down further in the pot too, so you kind of end up with a bunch of different colors and different hue's and such. I don't think yours went bad, I think the colors were just further down, so it's like you have a new product, if that makes sense.

Mineralize products always seem to have a shipping problem in Europe....

I know that they always take inventury on July 1st here - this is why we get the July (mineralize) collections often later in July.

I'm surprised too, but also very glad, because that means more people can pick it up, especially considering how few counters were given!

I hate it when products sell out within hours!

Really good points. I keep forgetting that unlike the highlight powders that have oversprays, the veining changes in MSFs....and the dome WAS pretty flattened. I also only ever used it with a 187 after I re-started using it, so that could definately change the way it looked on me. I don't have it anymore - I sold it, so I really couldn't have a 100% accurate recollection of it compared to the new one. The new one just seemed a lot more softer and easier to apply - that could also be because it HAS a dome...haha!

I have a feeling that Stereo Rose is going to be like Marine Life all over again. People are going to get greedy and buy up all the ones that the counters have and sell it on evil freaken bay for a lot more
angry.gif
That really upsets me because they're some really loyal MAC customers who really want it and can't get it because MAC decides, "Oh let's send x amount to y store and so on." Why the heck are they doing this now? That is so unfair and on top of that they have the balls to raise the prices?

in my book. Sorry for the rant.

Anyway hope you overseas gals get your things

I forgot to add in my last post that they had this collection out but not A+O, which is weird considering that they both launch the same day. Oh well I don't think that I'll be getting anything from that one because the pigments are too small grrr. I still want to see it though

These guys have ME paranoid about Stereo Rose and I don't even want one! Hell, I already have the old one and would probably never buy it for myself anyway.

But I am paranoid about the lippies and Comfort MSF. I'm trying to make other lunch plans so I don't stalk the Grove's Nordstrom's AGAIN on lunch.

as long as they're used properly, powders of any kind won't go bad, whether you continue to use the same brush on them with or without cleaning them. powders lack water (except the new MCLP), so they don't/won't harbor bacteria so long as water or a wet brush isn't used on them.

now mineralized products are another story. they're specifically made to be used wet or dry, and even using them wet won't grow bacteria. so, as far as mineralized products are concerned, you can use them however you want and they won't go bad. ever!

all makeup should be kept in a cool, dry place, so bathrooms and basements aren't the best place to keep em. but basements are usually cooler so you should be fine with em down there. just don't keep makeup of any kind in the bathroom. EVER!

again, mineralized products, whether used wet or dry (except for MSFN or mineralize loose-NEVER EVER EVER wet these) will not go bad.

I feel your pain! I know they will launch this collection on-line on Monday and I'm so afraid it will be while I'm working, and I will miss out on ordering SR on line. Because of that, I just called the store and put one on hold. I hope I can just order on-line and get it but, just in case it sells out before I can, I have one waiting at the store. I just hope I don't miss ordering on-line and then they sell the one I have on hold. That would be very bad.

Honestly it's not my fave MSF. I don't know why I'm still holding on to mine, because I don't use it (it's probably because of the hype about it that makes it hard to let go).

Anyways, I think the dark blue color in Style Influencer looks smokin' hot! I'm wondering if it's similar to any perm shade. Contrast, perhaps? But I'll probably never use the white/silver color if I do buy it. Sigh.

Comfort is still on the US site so you should be okay!

The dark blue is AMAZING! and in mine away, the white colour is great in the inner corner of the eye
