I wish I knew if mine was on backorder I got order confirmation at 7:44 EST and my Bank Card was charged the full sum. I need to know because I as well have some on hold at my free standing store and I don't want to end up with 6 Stereo Roses because I don't need 6 Stereo Roses! But I sure would hope my online order went through well so I don't have to commute the hr drive to my free standing store.

EDIT: LOL except it gives me an error whenever I try to add SR to my bag. This is SO not meant to be.

I think if you were charged the full amount you'll be fine.

So you put 3 on hold in a store, and ordered 3 on the website? Some kind of fail safe?

Anyway, I talked to a Nordstrom rep. and she said I should be fine since I just ordered when it came online, yeah, I've heard those words before. If I don't get from Nordies, then it is not meant to be. I can't take off work to be at the counter Thurs., just to get some makeup that I might/might not like.

Ok, just called a freestanding store nearby and they said they'll put stereo rose aside for me so hopefully I won't be disappointed on thursday morning *fingers crossed*

I know how you feel...I am tempted to just order elsewhere, but I don't want to end up with a bunch of them.I guess if that happens, I can just sell them at regular price to people that didn't get a chance to get them. It's too bad because buying stuff is supposed to be fun and exciting...not stressful.

Band of Roses is more of a non-bright fuchsia pretty med. blue pink/ a pearly burgundy plum, but not overly dark or muddy.

New Vibe is more of a dusty raspberry with a plummy rose but not overly dusty or dark but on the down side, the copper side of it kinds sucks.

No, they actually look different on, at least on me.

You can always re-sell any extras to the lovely gals on here for cost... i think a lot of people are going to be missing out once again

I placed my order at 4:38 PST and I have no idea whether I'll be getting mine either. This is sooo frustrating! I can't believe MAC says they didn't realize that the demand for SR would be so high... do they not have people who read beauty blogs??? We've been asking for this product to be repromoted for YEARS, and then since the early info was released, we've been saying how excited we are for it to be brought back and how much we want it... MAC is either clueless or else just doesn't give a crap.

Nordstrom is pretty good at their inventory and making sure that they are able to get the items they sell to people. I used it for ML, and Blue India, no problem.

I was having a problem with adding a Stereo Rose to my cart on Nordstroms site. But I opened another window to see what else I had in my cart from a previous visit, and the Stereo Rose was in there, while the other window was stuck in loading land.

It allowed my order for Stereo Rose and Blue my Mind to go through.
Now, I may have 2 SR's. I ordered from mac online at 7:30 central. If so, I will have a backup I guess, or will sell to someone here for cost.

Good luck people. This is beyond nuts.

From the look of things, there is going to be plenty of people wishing for CP's, so 6 Stereo Roses might not be a bad thing

I'll believe it when I get the email telling me it's safe to go pick it up, though.

Don't sweat it - just call MAC customer service, they'll tell you.

Don't wait on an email notice - because MAC is notoriously LATE on notices.

i just ordered from nordstrom as well. we'll see if i get the MSFs I wanted, but if nothing else I added a couple paint pots so my waiting will not have been in vain. lol!
