Having said that, my freestanding store was not crazed at all. It had eight SR last night, when I called my MA. When I came in at 1 p.m., they still had half of those (counting the one she set aside for me). But I picked up Marine Life at about the same time on TTB launch day, too. Even though it's a freestanding, I guess no one in North Texas wants to come out to Arlington for their MAC fix!

I ended up buying more than I originally planned (like every time!) -- other than Stereo Rose, I left with In the Groove MES and Calms, Cool & Collected MES. I was so tempted by Togetherness, and I may go back this weekend for it and possibly Love to Love. (Although I don't know that I need another neutral-y one because I already bought In the Groove).

And Petticoat. I own Porcelain Pink, By Candlelight and Stereo Rose. I'm not very impressed with Porcelain Pink tbh, so is Petticoat worth it? I'm NC25 with medium brown hair and very dark brown eyes.

SR is pretty nice with GFI, but I think the best colors for the cheeks with it will be Petticoat and/or Hang Loose and/or Band of Roses (I've got 'em all - any particular one you want?)

Now SR and Call My Bluff or Jazzed - that's another story - a lovely story!

Just got a shipping notification, and it looks like I'm getting Stereo Rose. Now, I just have to wait for it to arrive!

Crossing my fingers that It doesn't not irritate my skin since this is my first MSF.

Since everyone is sharing their delightful little SR stories I may as well go ahead and give mine:

So I called Macy's this morning and asked if I could pay for the SR I put aside yesterday over the phone and the MA said no, which kinda made me nervous because I wouldn't be able to make it up to the mall until almost six and if it got bad enough someone with money in hand would trump my "put it aside and I'll show up when I can" situation, especially since I was driving out of state (I know, what a loser, but the drive was only a little over an hour). So I get there and get up to the counter and I ask if they still had the one I put aside and they said yes! I was so happy. The MA said they only got three plus one for the display which fell and broke and had to be thrown away

(tragic, amirite?! lol). The MA also mentioned that they had another one that they had been holding for someone but she decided she didn't want it so I ended up buying that one as well so would be able to sell it someone who wasn't able to get one.

I also picked up Jazzed, Happy Together, Petticoat, Soften the Mood, Togetherness, and Calm, Cool & Collected along with a few other things I needed.

I ended up going to the MAC counter after work, and bought Stereo Rose (they only got 3 in, and I got the last one), since I can't tell for sure if the MAC Canada site is shipping it to me. So I might end up with 2.

I wanted to love Petticoat but it was much darker in person than I expected (even compared to swatches), so I didn't buy it.

Thanks Liba, you're a doll! I've got Petticoat on the way and my SR is on back order therefore I'm not counting on getting that one...so I'm kinda wanting to see what I'm missing out on. I'm sure GFI looks better with those cool toned pink blushes though. BTW, did you happen to pick up I Like It Like That? It's on its way to me now, though I'm having second thoughts about that guy...

New Vibe is nothing like Gentle. I had Gentle and swapped it forever ago. It did nothing for me. Now, the pink side of New Vibe is similar to Love Thing, but when you swirl it with the gold side, OMG it's gorgeous and totally different than Love Thing. The gold totally changes the entire color. It's a must have and I promise you won't regret it. If for some crazy reason you don't like it PM me and I buy it from you.

My freestanding store let me B2M depots this past Saturday. I was also allowed to choose a l/s, l/g, dazzleglass, superglass, cremesheen glass, e/s, or MES. I had no issues getting whatever I wanted.

I'm just going to pretend I don't know the rules changed, and next time I go in to B2M, I'll see if what they have to say changes. Last month I talked to an MA at the new pro store in Miami (where I'm moving next week - yay LeBron

!!), and when I asked her about depots, she said they really only care about the plastic anyway...HTH

Who picked up Hang Loose? I'm an NC20 (and over 35 LOL)...how frosty is it on the cheeks? I swatched it on my hand but didn't grab it. Now I can't stop thinking about it.

I thought of something earlier and wanted to see if anyone else thinks this might be. Since it really doesnt make sense that MAC only made a limited amounts of SR as stores got 3 or so in some cases.... could it be that this is old stock that sat around stored in a warehouse with no labels on it or no date stamped on it then they stamped the newer date on them? I'm wondering why it says "09" on it anyway. Shouldnt it be "0" and not "9"? I dont know maybe it cant be the case but it was just a thought. I just can't see them making such a limited amount on something one MSF that someone in marketing has to know is highly sought after and making a lot of something that isnt.

I don't really get this. If you had left it there, someone who wanted it would've found it in stock.

Shhh. don't tell anyone, but I'm planning on going in again tomorrow and asking another MA. Maybe they don't all read the memos

My store and the nearby counters have been very lenient on accepting depots, they don't even look. I'm hoping this won't change, but I'm worried because I have such a huge stash of mostly depots that I've been hoarding for when the "perfect" items are released. Tomorrow I plan to get Jazzed and either Lustering or Chatterbox, although I'm not 100% convinced Jazzed will work on me.

I do like the blushes but I have to be practical. So I said no to them.
I am happy with my purchases and will not purchase anymore until Dare To Wear.
