Well....my package came. My (old but nice) UPS man was wearing shorts.
New Vibe is ok on me, I will probably swap it, but I
Band of Roses!
ETA: Susanne we got the exact same things except I didn't get any MES!

well, after being distracted by boob slings on sale, i walked back to my car with the following:

No, I didn't even try the yucky copper side. The "good" side has a slight tone to it that reminds me of my rosacea flush. The bluer toned the better for me, so that's why I prefer BoR. I wouldn't go so far as to say I don't like New Vibe, just that I'm trying to keep my blushes manageable atm.

You know what...whatever with this "me trying to fight buying more things" issue. I'm too enamored by the pretty, gotta have it.
I just placed another order for a bunch more things, like really...a bunch. I don't even know why I bother trying to resist sometimes. I think holding back makes the inner devil in me jump out and grab everything she can reach to order.
Well whatever, I tried to be good and that should count for something yeah? Probably not.

How can you say my argument doesn't make sense? Someone just replied admitting to getting two marine lifes. With one just to look at. That's the very definition of selfish.
It's a totally different point to the guy making $100 000 to the guy making $35 000, the two do not even relate.
I just think it looks really bad. You would buy both blushes knowing that there were only two when there's a lineup of women behind you who arrived milliseconds later? Social convention alone would stop me from doing that.
And honestly wtf are you going to do with two blushes. They won't even be used/appreciated.
Sales that involve demand in products usually have a limit on the amount one person can get. i.e At grocery stores when rice goes on sale you can only get 6 bags. And don't respond by saying that they're two completely different things. Because the principle is the same. And it's actually worse with makeup because it's a luxury item and not even necessary.
MAC should adopt this policy because it's crazy that women are so greedy.
@Sass Please don't use free will as a justification. Not only is it cliche it's disrespectful to the whole concept of free will. Free will is the opportunity for people to choose the kind of person they want to be and live without being persecuted for their values. Not for people justify their actions. You had a backup plan and did exactly what I did, came up with an alternative when you couldn't get the product. But then are you not empathatic for women who may have been in the exact same situation as you? You also gave a very poor depiction of your judgement and character by saying that if you want to throw it away you can. Essay writing 101, undermining the significance of you're own point.
And it is not at all the same as owning only one eyeshadow because your propriety over them does not affect anyone else.
