It's a totally different point to the guy making $100 000 to the guy making $35 000, the two do not even relate.
I just think it looks really bad. You would buy both blushes knowing that there were only two when there's a lineup of women behind you who arrived milliseconds later? Social convention alone would stop me from doing that.

Sales that involve demand in products usually have a limit on the amount one person can get. i.e At grocery stores when rice goes on sale you can only get 6 bags. And don't respond by saying that they're two completely different things. Because the principle is the same. And it's actually worse with makeup because it's a luxury item and not even necessary.
MAC should adopt this policy because it's crazy that women are so greedy.
@Sass Please don't use free will as a justification. Not only is it cliche it's disrespectful to the whole concept of free will. Free will is the opportunity for people to choose the kind of person they want to be and live without being persecuted for their values. Not for people justify their actions. You had a backup plan and did exactly what I did, came up with an alternative when you couldn't get the product. But then are you not empathatic for women who may have been in the exact same situation as you? And it is not at all the same as owning only one eyeshadow because your propriety over them does not affect anyone else.
