I put Comfort all over my face and it gave me a nice glow so I'd recommend it. I'm NW50.

I picked up Petticoat, Calm, Cool, & Collected, and Togetherness MES yesterday. I'm really bummed that Stereo Rose sold out so quickly. I was away when this was released. I got back at midnight Thursday night so I never even had a chance.
Hopefully some kind soul will have an extra here, and I also have my eye on one on Evilbay.

I got my ass to the counter today even though my tummy hasn't been feeling well. Launch day was yesterday, and I heard from my MA that Stereo Rose sold out immediately (why am I not surprised). I wasn't too bothered though, because someone from the US had already placed a backorder for me, which I hope wouldn't get cancelled or something.

Anyway, I hauled

- Calm, Cool and Collected MES
- Jazzed l/s
- Happy Together MB

I'm thankful I was able to resist most of the collection, because I really need to start saving me some money now. Not sure if I'm going back for a part 2 haul, but I hope I can continue to be strong and resist!

P.S. those 3 items that I hauled look really good together. Try it!

I can completely rock a purple lipstick, as long as I'm crafty about it.
With Lavender Whip, I have to first fill in my lips with Plum pencil.
With Night Violet, I have to use Plum for liner, and blot the lipstick like crazy, and use a bit of pink-toned gloss on top.
Violetta is the closest thing I've found to a slick-it-on-straight-from-the-tube purple lipstick, and I have to lightly blot even that.
Violetta is wonderfully flattering, though; I get told that I "look pretty" every time I wear it.
All that said, and getting back to In the Groove, does anyone have a photo of Go for It?

I do. It has no shimmer so I use it like a face powder somedays when I don't want to wear foundation.

Band of Roses is just so, so pretty on. I applied a mix of the 2 sides super lightly with a 188 and it is just glowy rosy perfection! Reminds me a little of BB Pink Raspberry pot rouge but better.

I hate myself right now. Why did I take my big behind back to a Mac counter? I bought Richer, Lusher cremesheen. Somehow I forgot that I once wanted it but only remembered when one girl was going crazy b/c they actually had a particular shade that was apparently sold out everywhere she went (don't remember the shade). Then I played with jazzed again out of bordem and I asked an MUA what she thought. She said I should be able to rock it. I gave a "meh", bought R,L and left.
Why did I do a 360 and buy Jazzed? Something told me HELL NO. It looks horrible on my hand. I can't believe it's the same finish as Go For It, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.
Sorry for the long story, but let me say that for NC45, Jazzed is not necessary. It is nice with a gloss, but alone, it's not very flattering. I find that it's not very smooth and it skips. Perhaps if you have smaller, less pigmented lips you can rock it alone, but I sure can't. With Richer, Lusher on top I love it! Made to Order is far better for us though, in my opinion. If you have MtO or Vegas Volt then you can easily skip this. I suggest playing with it, though. I like mine enough to keep it. Pics coming soon.

I see. I work in the area, so I just hopped over at lunch. It would be really inconvenient for me to go anywhere else, I don't need makeup that bad (well, I don't NEED any at all). I told co-workers I had "errands" to run - which also included mailing swap packages

The Bay counters usually take longer to sell out, but they were sold out of SR by lunch time too. However, I picked up Jazzed at the Bay on Friday, and it was the last one. The f/s was sold out already.
