the dark is black. its not blue.

.. but it still works you just don't get the solid color benefits from either side. MSFs are complicated and delicate.

sadly these split pans are more prone to cracking, and they crack right along the split lines.

honestly, SR's veining isn't as prominent as other MSF's veinings, so they really don't affect the colour outcome as much as say, petticoat's veining does.

I did:

1) The ITG middle strip all over eye lid (beautiful deep pearl burgundy) you can also smudge it under the bottom lash line as well
2) A thin lining of Black Line pearlglide top lashline only
3) inner waterline with Chanel's new Cassis liner (a blackend plum)
4) Chanel black mascara mid to outer corner lashes heavy
5) Just the pink side of Hang Loose - used a 109 & buffed into the apples of cheeks & up cheekbone - lightly patted on the violet side (just below mid eye to outer corner of eye) high on upper cheekbone
6) Fuchsia Fix Lip Conditioner form Dsquared on lips

well I loved this all together so much! Hang Loose pink side =

mmmmmmmkayyyy. yer killin me..

I was just coming here to ask some opinions..
I am about to order another MES and perhaps a MB.
I have Blue My Mind, and togetherness MES.
BOR and Go For It l/s
(well, OK, so only Blue My Mind and the MSF's have gotten here, the others have been rescheduled for tomorrow).
I want to order another MES, and perhaps another MB.
I was looking at Nordstroms, thinking I might order jazzed, while I'm at it, maybe add In the Groove and Hang Loose, and maybe Chillin.

I've kinda been looking at the green MES, and the In the Groove one.
grrrrrr. and the Hang Loose looks oh so pretty

I'm about an NC 30, more like 35. brown hair. brown eyes.
do I need Hang Loose in my life, or In the Groove??

And Elegant, when I was 9 I had straight hair, at 10, curly as an afro until 16, then straight for 3 years, then curly until 2 years ago (I'm 39). Now it's grey, and half curly, half straight.
My hair is as confused as I am. and half of it has fallen out. Hormones are a fickle, fair weathered friend... dang em!

i think i'm wanting more MES from this collection! im not entirely sure yet though...l still want to see a few more swatches of the MES and the blushes to decide..

and for those of you that have comfort MSF - do you really like it? it's the only one i'm missing from this collection.. but not sure it's realyl worth it - if i'll use it .. or if it'll look muddy on me..

i think i need a backup of Jazzed lipstick - it's actually a pretty color on me (well i think lol).. so Flaminbird - if no one has gotten it from you - i will!
smiles.gif

i also need another Stereo rose (if anyone is willing to sell retail + shipping+ tax) ..

I will stop by the counter in munich today and see what's left.

Btw. I was wondering how MSF Procelain Pink and Light Flush seem compared to the ITG Petticoat MSF. Can anybody tell me the differences, please?

On another note, I find it interesting the discussion thread is 151 pages but there's only 5 pages in the swatch forum for ITG. What happened?

i tried doing swatches of teh couple of products i bought but sadly they just weren't showing up that well in the pictures! i tried in different lighting but it wasn't happening. and i thought there was no point posting a picture when you couldn't tell what you were looking at!

Finally got through all of the pages I missed after being gone from Specktra for a few days. I wish that work wasn't so busy for me right now. I am not able to get as much Speckra as I would like!

Happy Birthday cno64!

Elegant I love your avatar! You are so beautiful!

I am LOVING Band of Roses MB. It is one of the best makeup purchases I have made in a long time. I was afraid it would be too dark for my skin (NW15) but when I use a light hand it gives a great pop of color to my fair skin.

Porcelain Pink is a very sheer light pinkish highlight.Light Flush is a light pink with slight gold sheen. Petticoat is a fuller pink with a raspberry tone. How deep the raspberry tone will much differ depending on how much veinings there is in the Petticoat msf

Glad to hear that the surgery went well, and that you managed to get a Stereo Rose for yourself. I just had my final wisdom tooth removed a couple of hours ago. Hehe. Who is your MA? Name? Much as I love my MA, I don't think she will ever do something like this for me.

Thanks you for the descriptions and comparison. That helps a lot.

Btw. I just got back from my mac counter and tried A Little Bit of Sunshine which I ordered online. But I think it does not work for me
ssad.gif
I am a NC15 and it seems a little to dark and shimmery for me. I think Happy Togehter will be the better choice for me....
And the Jazzed lipstick turns out to be very orange on my lips, nothing for me either. But I got See Sheer instead
tong.gif

It's great that eveybody here enjoys their hauls so much! Your opinions are so interesting

Aside from that lovely ladies of Specktra, *Love To Love* MES has been on my mind, is it a 'hit' or a 'miss'??

For me it is definitely a hit
yes.gif

  1. I LOVE neutrals
  2. The texture is amazing
  3. I don't have similar colors (well, too many of them, anyway
    winks.gif
    )
  4. It is great size to put into your makeup bag - smaller than quad but with almost as many possibilities
If you are into neutrals and don't have similar colors I would say you can't go wrong with it

P.S. I hope your procedure goes well

I heard you should eat lots of ice-cream afterwrads - that should be nice, yes?

I used All Styled Up with Right Image yesterday and I'm in love again! It's so nice clean wearable barbie pink combo, not over the top at all. This collection has so many good products, I like this million times better than Colour Craft from last year!

I agree, ITG mes is gorgeous! I'm wearing it today, peachy pink side all over my lid, middle strip in crease, beigey side above crease. Pretty!

I wore LBOS blush yesterday and it is definitely dark and quite orange. Also tried New Vibe on and OMG it is so pigmented! I'll need a VERY light hand when applying it. Happy Together is gorgeous though and works very well.
