I've got Togetherness, Soften the Mood and Love To Love and they all go on with about medium pigmentation or more. I use a 239 to apply them, wet or dry, and they look great, with the light satin colors having an iridescent, light-reflective quality, and the medium and darker colors having an inner glow, especially when layered over the lighter colors.
I've also used a 224, but then they're MUCH sheerer (which is also really nice if I want to wing them out to the temples a bit or layer them over another color).
Some nice looks I've gotten include:
- The grey in Togetherness over Bough Grey, lined with Dirty
- The coppery, shiny color in Love To Love washed over Hot Hot Hot with Almost Noir for liner
- Industrial pearlglide on upper and lower lashline smudged with the light blue from Soften the Mood and the light lavender from Togetherness
Personally, I love the semi-transluscent quality of the MES. They're a great way to get some beautiful effects without going full on strong eyeshadow (good for us older gals, plus the light reflection hides a multitude of sins around the eyes!)
