Just wanted to say how surprised and happy I am with Band of Roses blush! Such a gorgeous flushed color and it will last me forever because I have to use such a light hand!

I am NW20-25 right now and it is beautiful!

I see that By Candelight MSF sold out? When did that happen? My order for Togetherness MES is scheduled to arrive on Thursday. I havent been able to wear any makeup lately since its been so hot. Its been over 100 degrees most days. So...

I've got Togetherness, Soften the Mood and Love To Love and they all go on with about medium pigmentation or more. I use a 239 to apply them, wet or dry, and they look great, with the light satin colors having an iridescent, light-reflective quality, and the medium and darker colors having an inner glow, especially when layered over the lighter colors.

I've also used a 224, but then they're MUCH sheerer (which is also really nice if I want to wing them out to the temples a bit or layer them over another color).

Some nice looks I've gotten include:

• The grey in Togetherness over Bough Grey, lined with Dirty
• The coppery, shiny color in Love To Love washed over Hot Hot Hot with Almost Noir for liner
• Industrial pearlglide on upper and lower lashline smudged with the light blue from Soften the Mood and the light lavender from Togetherness

Personally, I love the semi-transluscent quality of the MES. They're a great way to get some beautiful effects without going full on strong eyeshadow (good for us older gals, plus the light reflection hides a multitude of sins around the eyes!)

The looks you created sound pretty, I will try the love to love with almost noir tomorrow

I like the semi-translucent quality too. It is also perfect for the day makeup. Not too heavy, just right.

I caved and picked up Hang Loose. I didn't have a powder pink blush and I like that the purple can be used as an eyeshadow too. The only pink colour I have is pink loose minerals so this one is easier for travel.

I like the gray in it a lot, so I hope mine has the same great payoff as the tester.

There is a small, nagging voice in my head telling me to give Go For It another chance. It is a much cooler tone than Violetta...but I have to determine if I can justify the price based on how much I would wear it.

yeah that is why i skipped it in the end - just don't think i would have got much use out of it

For what it's worth, I (NW15; brunette;green eyes) use a pink stain (Stila "Beam") under Go For It, line with Plum pencil, top with a drop of pink gloss, and the result is very lovely and wearable.
I find myself looking for excuses to wear purple these days!
While we're talking about Go For It, what blush has everyone been pairing with it?

I'm still holding on, it's been hard trying to resist the rest of the collection (Togetherness, Soften The Mood and Hang Loose keep coming to my mind every two minutes)!

You're not helping me to save! Trying to limit my spending for VV collection. I have Ever Hip but it barely shows up on me and I'm only NC35. So i'm afraid jazzed will look the same too. I heard WnW has a dupe for jazzed called Just Peachy (I think??).
