I noticed a few ladies have said that Feed the Senses was their exact lip colour which I have also found. I kind of like that but to pink it up a bit at other times I've had success using Soar lipliner to give it a little more oomph.
I have to try soar with FTS. I also tried it with whirl as well.

I'll even try to take a pic of the B2M policy if i can so you guys can have to most recent policy.
Well i thought the same thing too. This was my first encounter having this issue and the manager eventually said she would email her trainer to find an official yes or no. I think personally that maybe my stores in my area probably lacking in sales maybe bc people do back to mac for them but then again she mentioned something ab the quantity of what they get, which again has nothing to do with the consumer...i feel like they need to express that with whoever they speak up to. Getting 3-4 lipsticks in one collection in a population of 3-4-500+ pple visiting your counter is insane.

I am going to have to go back and do a second order of this stuff, because i am liking a lot more than what i thought i would like. I got sex and the Oyster and its just gorgeous! I pretty much like all the shadows except Divine Decadence. All the shadows i i thought i wouldn't like i love. I even love Gilty Morsel and it's a Lustre! it went on very smooth (the one i tried on at the counter)

lipsticks, i am loving Just a Bite, not so much Feed the Senses. it looks like an ashier Lazy Day on me. I also am loving By Design, but i have yet to purchase that one. i wore that with Liquer lipgloss and just fell in love.

So I wore FTS today, with a neutral look. I really didn't think I would like it, because I have kind of a small upper lip and a full lower lip..I thought it would just disappear on my pigmented lips..boy was i wrong!! I LOVE it!! It just finished my look off so nicely and made my otherwise puny lips look so full and lush! I couldn't stop looking at myself..lol..I'm so glad I found y'all..I would have NEVER picked up a color like that had I not read all your wonderful reviews!!

OH, and I already ordered a backup..lol..
Happy Weekend lovelies!

By Design is GORGEOUS! I like Soft Sable (from Glitter & Ice) and it's in the same vein as BD... but it wasn't perfect... it leaned a little too cool. BUT BD is exactly what I wanted SS to be! I will wear this a ton! I wore it yesterday with NYX's Mauve lip liner... LOVE LOVE!

The eye combo does sound sexy!

What does SS stand for?

And has anybody compared FTS with Lazy Day? Are they similar?

Everyone looks so beautiful using the products from this collection. I was trying to stay away but I am being drawn to purchase: Just a Bite, Deeply Dashing, Sex and the Oyster, Utterly Tart, Lust for Life, and Divine Decadence. Decisions, Decisions!

Lazy Day is much pinker, much less grayish and with more pastel/white in it than FTS. It's better to compare FTS to Restrict and just call it a darker Restrict with a little more obvious mauve.

I love Soft Sable and the Wonder Woman Heroine, but neither of them are as nice and wearable as By Design. Even Warm Companion, which I've been crazy about all year, isn't as nice. I love the soft dull metallic finish BD has - it's so flattering. I haven't backed it up, but only because MAC really pumped out some awesome warm peachy brown nudes this year (although it got going last year) and now I've got a whole variety that work perfectly. Warm Companion, Cozy Up, Posh Tone, Calypso Beat, Baking Beauty, Delectable, Cusp of Dawn and now By Design - and these are just the ones I actually own…I still am interested in Luxe Naturale and there are more on the horizon. I did BU Delectable and Posh Tone is perm. but I'm thinking I might be smart to get a BD BU before it's off the table. It's definitely one of the best of the whole crop, but who knows what the future will bring?

Thanks, liba :) Unfortunately I don't have Restrict :-( I'm sure I'll love FTS either way.

Well according to the update book, the new B2m policy does specifically exclude all LE items, BUT, it also doesn't mentions anything about depots and whether the pans are required or not, which it has has mentioned in the past. So once again, mac is changing its policy on a whim, and not following it universally throughout all locations.

soooo i went to mac yesterday! i got palace pedigree. i was gonna pass cuz i got sketch but its such a gooorgeous purple and actually lighter when i swatched it next to sketch; and the bronzey fluidline which i must say...divine decadence REALLY pops on top of the fluidlines. im debating if i should've got 3 rings too cuz its such a gooorgeous color but i feel like i got a similar color in my sephora pantone palette!! other than that...i tried on that glittery lipstick (is it a dazzle one?) and it swatches beautifully but it looked like tinkerbell wiped her azz on my lips

I'M WITH YOU GIRLLLLL!

I was considering BU'ing this baby up as well... it's so hard to know whether BU'ing up is a good idea or not. If I LOVE something I tend to grab at least 1 extra JUST IN CASE... you never know when it might get lost or "sticky friend fingers" help it walk off, or damaged somehow! Let alone the possibility of actually FINISHING it! Oh gawd... I think I just made myself panic! Off I go to put a BU in my cart!

ooooh nooooo! Don't panic!!

I BU plenty of things, but usually only if it's something that has all three (or maybe 2.5, if I'm feeling exuberant) of these factors:
1) Really unusual/complex/unique
2) HG material - either you can't imagine any possible way it could be even better and/or you know you are going to wear it so much that you are certainly going to run out (so lippies and some face powder, mascara or liners, but almost never eyeshadow and I've never BU'ed blush or highlighter)
3) Something that isn't in the middle of the latest trend, but something either way ahead of the trend or fabricated with special tech or materials you know won't come back around again so soon.

So even though I love By Design, I might not back it up. It's certainly in the HG/daily use zone and it's somewhat unique, but I do think we're going to be getting more warm nudes and more of these subtle new satiny frosts, so I may just wait and see. I only bought one Reel Sexy last year and I wore it so often I got a BU off of a Specktrette, but as it turned out, this year we wound up with an entire collection of awesome Reel Sexy style apricot orange sherbet colors with AAO, so I didn't really need that Reel Sexy BU after all. Hell, this year, once AAO came out, I haven't even worn RS again and just wear the hell out of Sushi Kiss and Sweet & Sour instead.

I *DID* BU FTS, though, because we know how often MAC does pale pinks and pale lavenders, but how rarely they get the balance just right for my very particular, greyed out needs, plus the FTS formula is super awesome, with great coverage and staying power - it's original Flamingo level "good" lustre. Finally, even if it gets repromoted, the color mix is very subtle and complex and a repromote batch might not capture it as perfectly, so BOOM, back up time - EVEN THOUGH I may actually wear By Design even more often than FTS, on a day by day basis.

Just trying to be a hyper-realistic anti-enabler.

Watch me BU BD in 2 months after all!

You should have tried By Design - that one would have been a good nude for you…not sparkly like Tinkerbell's bathroom habits

Love Delectable...I wish I had backed it up. I bought Posh Tone last week as well because I believe Temptalia listed delectable as a dupe for it. But moral of this story is that I neeeeed to get By Design. I already placed my online order for the fluidlines from this collection so i'll wait for the collection to be released in my country.

The moral of the story is Temptalia's dupes for By Design make absolutely no sense. Delectable is nothing like Posh Tone and Freckletone is nothing like By Design.

I always look forward to T's dupe list but sometimes they are WAY off. It's like she uses whatever was most recently reviewed instead of actually looking for what is most comparable. Still, I always check her site! But uh ya. Everyone needs By design lol
