Regarding the IGNK khôl, in France, remember I doubted of the colour as it appeared turquoise-green on our MAC-site?
I ordered it... but then I saw the day after that my order was cancelled. They do not have it at all; neither in stores nor online.
I was veryupset becase I received no email from MAC ( only 2 days after I claimed about this cancellation...: what they replied is "sorry, product out of stock", (but it still apperas available on the website)... and "they don't know if/when this product will be available in store" :(

Regarding the 221 brush, I don't know about the Hakuhodo dupe, but these are great! I love it and took 3 eventhough one MUA I do trust told me i was going to be permanent. I never know with MAC so I took them right awy!

We received the fluidlines after the eyeshadows & lipsticks but we have them all. :)
I finally picked Sihahi, Blue Peep, Lowlights and Shade.
---
1st row: Shade - Blue Peep - Lowlights
2nd: Ash violet - Midnight snack - Copperthorne
3rd: Ivy - Aded Goodness - Siahi
4th: Ivy (Bobbi Brown) - Midnight blues (which is greener/darke than Sihahi on my skin)

Shade-Blue Peep- Lowlights
Oh no!

Sorry your order got cancelled. That is just crazy that they would make it available online even though they have no stock.
I know I shouldn't be shocked by anything anymore regarding MAC and their shenanigans, but the most ridiculous thing about the Bao release here was that apparently the lipsticks were never available because there was no stock left for Germany after other countries received all of it... So I'm thinking maybe that's what happened with IGNK as well?

I'm still thinking about the 221. It does seem nice. You did the right thing grabbing them when you could.

I'm glad you were able to get the Fluidlines, they look lovely!

Yeah, for I get no kick.
But I have a friend who proposed to get it for me on ebay (the price is higher ...)

And yes, these fluidlines look really pretty, thanks :)

These were the swatches I did in the store before I got one fluidline first (Siahi)... (then the week after I went back and took the 3 others)

I'm not sure yet to keep Shade ...(it has not been used) maybe I'll return it.

Is there a Hakuhodo dupe for the 221? The collection finally launched online, but of course most of the Fluidlines, Catty and IGNK are missing. Go figure. So now I'm not sure if I should get the 221 or skip altogether. I'm really, really annoyed with MAC at this point, especially after what I heard about the Bao Bao Wan release. Apparently, the lipsticks were never available online, but MAC stated otherwise on Facebook, then allegedly deleted comments.

The brushes say LE, too. So not sure if they'll be perm here after all.
We still haven't rec'd the 221 here in the US, so perhaps it is not yet received in Germany either? Hakuhodo's brush line is so extensive, I would think that they do have something (even at a lower price, really!) although I'm sorry I don't know what it is. I'm so sorry they've messed up the release there!!! It's incredible that they don't have most of the fluidlines! what is up with that--this is like the main fluid line collection. Breaks my heart for you!

I think they do have (most of?) the f/l at counters, though. I would hope that they will be online as well at some point since they're supposed to be perm. Thankfully, I didn't want any of them, but I know others were really looking forward to them.

Side note is there a way to make these gel liners a little thicker? My Waveline was creamy but like "whipped cream" creamy which made it difficult to do a double wing eye for me this morning. Or maybe it's my brush? Or even my technique?

The early images of IGNK also appeared a sort of minty green on MAC Canada and also on the website for the department store that now sells MAC here. It was really strange but as soon as the collection launched it was corrected to the nude colour.

Clearwater is also perfect if you are trying to do that 70's blue eyeshadow look - I mean 1000% retro-perfect.

Stormy Pink is probably my favorite single P/P - it does double duty as a cream contour for my cheeks - I use it all the time for that, besides on the eyes.
I have Stormy Pink too! I do love that paint pot. When I bought it I was so happy that the texture of the formula had been improved to be more creamy. I like wearing that colour alone on the lids sometimes because it's just so lovely on its own.
I'm going to keep my eyes peeled at the CCO for Clearwater because I saw someone mention it above and I do recall that I saw a few of the newer ones there when I last went.

Yay!

Just got back from my Mac counter and B2M'd for Reel Doll and Catty. I brought my Red balloon to compare with Diva-ish and swatched them next to each other and they were virtually identical. My favorite MA was working and neither of us could tell the difference at all, so I skipped Diva-ish. Too bad really, because that was the one I was looking most forward too!

Also picked up IGNK and Bouffant! Both are GORGEOUS. So much for skipping Mac is Beauty!

I just so happened to put Red Balloon (probably for the first time this whole year) on not long after your post

I love it! Such a nice change from those drying mattes.

Glad you got Real Doll and Catty, I am sure they will look very pretty on you

I am just waiting on one more order to arrive (Real doll BU and 2 Petit Red BU's) before I get my haul delivered (it feels like I have waited an eternity for my first JP haul).

Really? I was planning to get MMG but I have Toxic Tale already. What color foundation do you normally wear? You look similar to me.
I'm usually an NC20-25. I'm hoping they look different on the lips. When I first got FoF I swatched it next to GAT and they also looked identical except for the finish, but they looked very different on my lips. I haven't had a chance to compare MMG and TT that way yet, but I'm hoping the difference is noticable. I do like MMG-I tone it down a little with some blotting and it's a great color for summer, but I don't think corals are flattering enough on me that I needed both MMG and TT.
