OMG why aren't the brushes up on MAC's site yet!? WTF is taking so long!!

F*** the discount and go for Nordies. It's less stressful than waiting for weeks. You can always get your BUs from the MAC site later.


PS: It's really ironic that the one collection we get Pro discount does not release all items. Oh well, it's MAC, and I enjoyed the Pro discount ride while it lasted and didn't take it for granted.

Loving CTH! So surprised as it's a lustre. Highlights looked better on my hand, lol! I'll try it again tomorrow.

I didn't mention I bought the brushes last week at my local MAC store. I already can do winged liner, so I felt the liner brush was a little excessive. I think it'll come into its own with liquid liner. With gel, the product is a little thick to get a defined wing with the way the tip of the brush works. It's a well-made brush, at least. I'll enjoy using it with those sweet looking cake liners coming out in the fall.

Meanwhile that face brush is pretty interesting. It's very soft and long. I think it's too soft, long and floppy for careful blush or highlight placement, but those same qualities will make it amazing for blending cheek products. Currently I use my angled kabuki for buffing and blending my cheeks, but it can be a bit too large so I have to be careful when blending down strong blush…it can get too close to my nose otherwise. This new brush will start doing heavy duty when I need to carefully blend a contoured cheek or a strong color that I want to carefully shape.

The little eye blending brush is great. No need to say more!

somebody posted that it would be out on May 4th, so should be pretty soon. I've been checking online everyday too, I only want two lipsticks and don't think they will sell out fast but I am super keen! This will be my first Mac purchase for the year, nothing else has stood out for me at all besides Royal Ball from Cinderella which was way too hard to get so I need my Mac fix!

Sadly enough, somehow the whole Pro discount went down the drain, at least for now.

I'm ok with it, though I wish they would reinstate the early release for Pros. If MAC releases early (but minus the discount), I don't think it would take a hit on the stock for regular customers (at least not the the extent as we have seen it during Marilyn release). Oh well, you never know with MAC. Thus I just sit back and enjoy the ride w/o complaining too much.
