As many fluidline as there were with this collection you would think Mac would have made a new purple. I think this a missed opportunity, I would have love a bright violet shade. But I like the selections of blues and greens. In any case.
I would have loved a bright violet and lavender too.

Interesting that Temptalia gave this collection a pretty bad review. She actually says that all the lustres lipsticks are a miss.

Other people may think differently though...I will still check out the collection in stores :)
T seems to think lack of pigmentation = miss. That's not always true since lustres are suppose to be somewhat sheer. Liba gave a really great description of what they are and what they do for your lips in one of last year's spring collection thread (sorry I can't remember which one it is!). Liba said it's suppose to make your lips "juicy and youthful" so it doesn't seem fair to say these lustres are a miss just because they aren't as opaque or pigmented compared to satin/matte or retro matte lipsticks.

Karen has tweeted that this collection will be online in the US on 30th March.
thank you for sharing :) Did she specify where? Meaning is it the Nordstroms's launch we anticipate or did they change yet again the Mac online launch?

I thought I could easily skip this collection but that Looking Good fluidline is making me second guess myself. I hope it doesn't sell out quickly because I won't have the funds but who am I kidding, it's gorgeous.

I wonder if I need Looking GOod, or would wear it. Remember the colorful paint pots they brought out a few years ago? Well I don't even wear those.

I think looking good would get more use than the usual fun colored ones! It will look really nice paired with marsalesque type neutrals and gold tones!! I am hoping it has a deeper quality to it being burgundy and not red !!

It shouldn't sell out too fast, reg packagaing collections stay around longer.

I so agree with you. They are very pretty applied lighter allowing your natural lip shade to kind of show through. I think they are pretty that way. Liba was very right :)

I'm still hanging tight to my in-store purchase for these. Want to swatch and see how they look on my skintone.
