Thank you!!

I'm not really loving Alpha Girl so far, it's definitely not an highlighter. It has a slight sheen to it but it's pretty much matte on the skin! More a blush than an highlighter. It won't work as a blush on darker skin tones either because it has a very powdery texture. It will be a good coral-peach blush for you if your are fair-skinned, it MIGHT work on medium skin tones if applied on well moisturized skin and if you set your makeup with a setting spray or some fix + to remove that powdery finish.. but I've only worked on the comparison swatches so far and haven't worn it on my face yet. It might be one of those things that you love once you know what to expect though (NOT an highlighter lol).
Thanks for the info! Im not big on highlighters so i was looking to use AG as a blush anyway and Im fair so thats fantastic!

Interesting how differently this product works on different skin tones! I'm NC43/44... I keep alpha girl in my bag as an all over powder (i have the one from when it was released with a flower embossed in it)...It doesn't look chalky or powdery on me, and the pink brightens my complexion very subtly. mostly it just gets rid of the shine.

This is exactly what I was afraid of but no. You can also use it in the inner corners of your eyes the MAC artist suggested. I tried to get good pics. I'm NW45 (since the 90's) though she said I'm not anymore, I'm probably NC. Apparently they change their shades? Is she serious?  Pearl Blossom on cheekbones.
Beautiful!!!

I didn't even think of using it as an all over powder! I think because you are using it to get rid of the shine, the sebum blends with the powder so it's not as powdery.

So crap, I should have stayed away from this forum. Now you're making me get Pearl Blossom!!! Why do you ladies have to look so beautiful?!?! Can't you look awful just for once so I can be like, "nah, don't need it."

So these brushes... They are for blending purposes...yes? What's the difference between 221 and say 217? Is 137 for the face while 221 is for the eye?
The 221 is a narrower version of the 217, great fir people with smaller creases, when the 217 is too big. It's a shorter version of the 222. 100s are for face, 200s are for eyes, and 300s are for lips, although bruses are multipurpose.

The joys of joining specktra lol--I've found myself buying things I wouldn't look twice at if it weren't for these lovely ladies

Just watched the swatch vid on YouTube by [@]MandyVanHook[/@] and I'm super happy about Silly now. I didn't realize how different it was from all my blue-pinks... But now I might need catty.... Keep up the good work! Especially the comparison swatches, love those! And WTF with the brushes?! Trying to make my head explode?!
