I don't wear eyeshadow as much as I used to and that is why I have cut back a lot on eyeshadow. SOOOO I just decided to explore and found something interesting! They are only unveiling 2 of the 6 people today...I bet that means only SOME of the products are out today, too. I would not be surprised if we see mattenes and/or patent polishes on different days.

I picked up one lipstick and two shadows. I really think MAC is gonna have to do something about this site cause it crashes on my browser when I go through the lipsticks and eyeshadows. I can't understand why MAC isn't listening here, I know tons have complained???

Yeah. If you click to explore the models and keep going through that part, you get to a page that shows the two from today and then has four empty slots. Two say 'releasing 9/22,' and two say 'releasing 9/23.' And as much as that could only refer to releasing identities of models, I doubt it. They are probably doing a daily feature. On the one hand, really cool and a way to have those models get great attention. A great way to drum up excitement, but on the other hand, really really annoying and is going to clog up there site and order system in a bad way...very bad logistically.

When i click on the shop collection option,it loops back to the home page. The only way i can access the lauch is by searching the shades individually!

I've thought a little more, and this may be giving MAC more credit than they deserve. Maybe they are testing the site in prep for GP. Launching items that are generating more hype and more desired each day as they approach that launch. OR maybe this is their way to try to break up the flood of traffic since they know their site can't handle it.

(Ordered FR and the new foundation brush anyway....Speed Up may have also sped into my cart)

I have no idea because I just got into MAC this year, but it would make sense. Part of the point of these campaigns is to feature 'us,' right? This helps the models not to get lost in the fray as much and it also highlights the products with the people. I was annoyed at first, but now I'm more on the this is kinda cool bandwagon.
