The Perfect Cheek went too warm on me and just gave me a kind of lightly sunburned look. Yuck.

Well, I finally tried In the Gallery today, and all I can say is ICK. It's going back! VERY poor color payoff (over a primer) and the textures were just awful. Not a redeeming one in the BUNCH!!
I'm generally happy with the quads - I've never returned one but I can't get back to the store fast enough!!

And Tish, thanks to all your talk about NYX Milk, I now have a dozen more NYX Jumbo Pencils coming my way
I should have just ordered them all because I know I will end up with the whole collection eventually LOL! I do't even have VT either.

I thought the same thing when I first swatched the quad in the store - it was just ick - I went with the other two palletes

I am beginning to wonder if the formulation is not always the same from one shadow to the next. My Photo Realism payoff is wonderful.
I should stay away from Specktra, but I've only just found you all and I LIKE you! I could stop looking at the swatches I suppose. Well, I'm glad Style Black is next cause I'm not a black fan.

Just came back from my MAC store, and I must say I'm not impressed with much of this collection. Perhaps two of the lipsticks (Hold the Pose and the darker one) and that is it. I'll wait for the black collection coming out later this month. None of the quads were spectacular enough to warrant plunking down the dough, I swatched the purple and green and the colour payoff seemed meh. I was excited about the nail polish by Jin Li, Beyond Jealous is an amazing colour and I had them put a bottle of the taupey colour which name escapes me right now on hold at the downtown location. Ended up getting Beyond J and the liquid lip balm.

Apart from Lightfall I'm not having any problems with the color payoff, maybe it has to do with skintone, but I'm actually enjoying this quad.
