Guess what I got couple of days ago? My last goodies from this collection!

I immediately did my face with Photo Realism (and Unbasic White), The Perfect Cheek and New Spirit.

I'm so glad I picked up TPC in the end, because it really is perfect! It was THE blush I needed when I do dramatic eyes. It looks so pale and dull in the pan, but it is absolutely gorgeus on! It's neutral and flattering. This was one of the items I wasn't sure about, but it truly surprised me in a good way.

Photo Realism is a good quad. The two darker colours are special, I have nothing like them in my collection. It's something nice to have, but it didn't wow me. What I'm saying is that even though I didn't have dupes for all of the colours in it, the quad is somewhat obvious. There wasn't a odd colour in it so I could say wow, I never thought of these colours together, or this is something unexpected and I need some creativity to create a look with these colours. Saying that, it's not a bad thing to have sort of an easy quad! I do like it.

New Spirit is nice. I'm a sucker for orange/peach/gold lip colours like NS and Gold Rebel so I had to have it.

I haven't got a chance to try the Notoriety quad yet, so I cannot say anything about it just now.

Crest The Wave and Off The Page are both fresh looking colours that I needed in my collection. Orange and yellow in eyeshadows are the colours I occasionally get really excited about and then forgot, but I have a feeling after getting so many good yellows from Mac, I will be all over them all the time.

It's crazy how much stuff Mac is releasing. I have so much things still unused and that's sad. How is it with you? Do you always try everything you buy right a way, or do you find that there is too much stuff and too little time? Or do I just buy too much?

too much stuff and too little time for me! i buy what i can afford from my list and then if anything is left over the following month i'll buy the rest. but with this collection i felt a bit overloaded!

hee hee! i'm quite lucky because nick does his best to surpirse me with little gifts. like he knew how badly i wanted the 226 brush so bought that for me and had it delivered to my work. and every so often he'll look at my 'mac wanted' list on my pc and buy something from it

for my birthday next month he's already asked me to make a list of stuff i'd like. so yeah he's a pretty good hubby! But Tish is very very lucky!

totally with you on buying a computer game though - after long shopping trips i always end up treating nick to a pc or ps3 game as a reward for being out shopping so long!

I am still really happy with everything I bought from this collection. Photo Realism was the real prize, I thought, but Notoriety is perfect for neutral looks. Still, since it's not just beiges and browns it's not dull. The gold colour (Skintone 2 I think) is to die for!

Off the Page and Crest the Wave are great too, and very wearable.

Everything I purchased I love and I am not lemming anything else. Perfect!

I played with an other In The Gallery to day and this one wasn't as smooth as the first one... so I didn't pick it up, with my luck I would have get the chalkier of the bunch.

The perfect cheek blush ( this is LOVE)

Maira's Mood was so not like I wanted it.. and with Pink Vivid I can't go for something less good. Purple Shower wasn't enough pigmented for me. ANd I don't regret VT at all, it's a bit harder to work with but it's pigmented and the color is gorgeous.

I may buy a b /u of the perfect cheek.... this IS the perfect cheek on me.

What are people using with Personal Taste l/g. I want it but I need enablement.

Sometimes colors like Personal Taste look like powdered donuts on my lips.

I was using High Strung with it but as the day wears on it can get a little frosty/sloppy. I find it works better all by itself. That's for me, at least. I haven't played around with it a great deal b/c of all the darn collections coming around.

High Strung looked really horrible on me.

I got New Spirit lipglass for my birthday and it has fast become one of my very favorite lipglasses. It is the perfect everyday lipglass with just a hint of color. Normally I don't go for coral colors but it is so pretty.

I need to get a sample of brash and bold. Magenta isn't normally a color that I would wear on my eyes but I bet that it would make a great lip color mixed with clear lipglass.

yes it does make a fab lip color! i didn't have any clear gloss so just mixed it with some vaseline and it lated for quite a few hours!

very bright though so i didn't wear it to work - a little too much even for me!

I just bought personal taste the other day and I love it. The MA put it on by itself and it looked wonderful, she wanted to use a lipliner, but I'm not a lipliner kind of girl.

i rarely use lip liner. i use it on nights out to make my colour last longer and not bleed but on normal days i just apply lipstick from the tube straight on the lips!

I'm too lazy to use lipliners these days.
