Beaut.ie has a swatch of Red Hot Copper as well, http://beaut.ie/blog/2011/mac-metal-x-cream-shadow-for-december-2011-pictures-swatches/

see it looks stunning but equally like copper sparkle pigment.. and that won't crease on you!

I'm not a fan of cream shadows, but I may give a couple a try. I love how Gold Carbon looks.

these look beautiful...but just wondering why the boxes say 'cream colour base'?

I LOVE the promo pic! Definitely reminds me of classic mac collections :) I don't know if I'll buy any though, I wish there were more colorful ones.

I love cream shadows... but I will be gutted if these crease. I can't wait to see some swatches and read some reviews. If these are anything like the old MetalX or the Big Bounce shadows it will be an easy skip for me. Pretty colours mean nothing if the formula is awful.

These colors seem pretty basic to me and heaven knows I have similar shades, but I will give them a shot. I'll probably buy them all. My lids, like my face are dry as dirt so I shouldn't have any problems.

Lou, remember that you can use the Metal X not only on your eyes, but also as highlighter. They are lovely as a cheek highlight or to emphasize the cupid's bow.

I am tempted to get ALL of them, but as I know they will eventually dry out, I will restrict myself to three or four. Using a primer on the lid and applying it in THIN layers is imperative though.

Quote: Yeah the big bounce are really weird. I got 3 of them, never used them but they swatched sheer. So i decided to pull out Count you Assets and Rich Thrills, swatched them, and they were pretty bold! So i thought ok, they swatched well on my hand, they will be great on my eyes. But they still suck!! I used primer, i don't even have oily eyelids, and they applied so patchy and creased. Why do they swatch so nicely on my hand but not on me?? I thought maybe they got "better with age" but they still suck. Major fail for MAC and i really was optomistic about these. They should\e made them into a harder mousse texture like BE's Buxom ones. Really hoping they seriously improved the formula on these new metal-x ones. I hae cheap cream shadows from ELF that are amazing compared to the crap MAC has been giving us lately but some of these new shade descriptions sound amazing!!!

Yep, the Big Bounce are strange. I have found it works better if you actually bounce your finger along the lid, then smooth with an extremely light touch. I use the BB shadows as a base for the MES shadows, the combo lasts all day.

I still have nightmares from the previous Metal X Shadows, such a bad experience! I'm just going to pass on this, hopefully, I will actually be able to pass!

Hehehe, only a bit. I recommend that you just get a few selected ones, so you use them up (or at least most of it) before they dry out. Having said that, if you use them on eyes, cheeks, and lips, they won't last long anyway.
