I just got home from MAC after getting my makeup done since I missed the free one last week due to the snow and she tried the Mineralize on me and OMG I LOOVEE it! It made my skin look so nice! She used the 130 too which I wanted to buy but just can't right now

. Maybe in a few weeks. Anyway she said she loves it too and we both have the problem of large pores and it didnt sink in to the pores only like other foundations I've tried. It made my skin really nice looking so I bought one in NW20 and it's a pretty close match.

I had to go a shade lighter, NW15. I am NW20 in Minearlize liquid, Moistureblend, and the foundation stick. However with this new mineralize compact foundation I went with NW15 and it matches perfectly. Add a little mineralize skinfinish natural and it it is flawless!

How do you guys think this new foundation compares to MSF Natural... I know they are obviously different formulas, but as far as coverage wise? Some days I like to just wear MSFN buffed on with my 182 and a little concealer for light coverage. Do you think the coverage of this is similar?

OMG you guys are saying the Studio Sculpt runs dark too? I'm beginning to think that depending on the formula I have to get matched each time! I had to go darker in that to an NC50 because NC45 is too light! I wear NC45 in Stick Foundation and Studio Fix...LOL Foundations are funny things across the brands!

I ended up back at the counter during my lunch. We tried a different color, NC50, and everyone, but me, seems to think it looks good and like I don't have anythng on, which, is a good thing. I'm still not sure but I will say it seems to neutralize some of the redness in my skin. I hope this color will work so I don't have to go back to the counter.

I got to see this foundation and the 130 today. I'm trying to finish my current foundation before trying this but I tried it on my hand and it seemed pretty smooth! The color I tried was wayyy too dark for me, but then I tried the 130 to buff it in, and even though the color was not the right one, it buffed in very well! I like the brush- it's like 2x denser than the 188 and though small, is a great size for working all the different angles of your face. I can't wait to get this brush, I just hope it doesn't sell out!!

I made it to the MAC counter yesterday and tried the new foundation. I was matched with NC45, I normally wear NC50 but this formula was a lil too red for me. The MUA tested the foundation on me using the 187. I was in a spending mood so I purchased the foundation.

I tried it home with my 187 and the foundation applied really streaky. I gave in and used my wedged sponge. The consistency is really nice and creamy. It applies really well using your fingers. This foundation has more coverage than I like. Also, it does not photograph well, especially using the flash..(SPF I guess).

Today is the first day I wore it for a full day. I am experiencing itching on my forehead...it started lastnight. I broke out with Studio Sculpt and Satinfinish so this is not unusual for me. I don't think I can do any MAC emollient type foundations. I applied it much lighter today with the 187 and I love the finish.

I saw the new foundation today. I love the feel of it on my skin and I love the natural look it gives. I saw the brush too, the MA used it to apply the foundation on me. You guys are right it's tiny, but it's super dense. If I hadn't blown so much cash on spring forecast I woulda got it right away.

The MA told me I'm prob NW25 or even an NC20
th_dunno.gif
. I asked her to try NC25, NW25 and NC20 on me. NC25 was the darkest (too dark on me) and also very orange. NC20 is slightly light and a lil too yellow, makes my complexion look weird. NW25 is the best match but it's still slightly dark.

I don't know if I've lost my colour or this foundation runs really dark, in studio sculpt NW25 was bang on. I still wanna go back and get the foundation in NW25, I can always buff it out for now until spring when I will hopefully be more tan...

Hey girlies I need some help. I cant for the life of me remember what the MUA used on me before she applied the Mineralize today. When she mentioned it I hadnt heard of it and it was in a small black tube I believe. She said it minimizes pores as you wear it. I dont think it was the line filler but I dont know
ssad.gif
. She didnt call it a primer either. I keep thinking it was a metal tube but I'm not sure. Whatever it was it has really helped the makeup stay fresh looking.

I've been wearing this all day and I really like it....doesn't feel like i have anything on and the coverage is good. I did top it off with MSFN and Prep and Prime Translucent powder so maybe that's helping me not be shiny.

For me, there's a learning curve for the 130...i'm so used to using the 131 for my foundation....will keep practicing though.

And umm for some reason, i'm waiting for my face to turn into an oompa loompa....

When I tried this foundation the MA asked what color I usually use. I said NC44ish. I wasn't really sure because I use the NC 43 in the studio fix powder and sometimes alternate between NC44 and NC45 tinted moisturizer which I think was discontinued. I don't even use the Studio Fix all over my face sometimes. He showed me NC 44 which I thought looked really dark in the compact so he tried NC42 which was the next lightest shade. It looked too light so he swabbed a bit of the NC44 on and I went with that. Well, I didn't bother to take it off in the store so I still had the NC 42 on when I got home. Suddenly it didn't look so bad.

I went to exchange the product today because the MA gave me Moistureblend instead of the Mineralize. I returned it to a different store and the MA asked if I wanted NC44. I said yes and he said oh I want to see something. He tried the NC44 on my skin and said it was a good match.

I ran home to try it out. I used the 130 brush to buff it on. Not much got on the brush so I ended up putting more on it. It buffed out fine but it was work due to the small size. I took my mirror to the window and I just wasn't sure about it. I wasn't sure if it matched my neck so well. I was going out for a late lunch so I decided to wear it anyway. Later, I looked in the car mirror and it looked fine. I guess I'm just not used to wearing a regular foundation all over. I do like it better than the studio fix as my skin has been really dry lately. Also, I think maybe I won't put so much on next time.

I didnt see it on the site so that explains what others have said about it LE. Thanks also Vlcatko for the link. That would explain why she said that I needed to use it..ie as if it was readily available. By the time I got to the counter to pay I'd totally forgotten about her using it otherwise I would've bought it. Ugggh...my mind is so gone. I'll have to make another trip back there since it's not online.....yet

i agree having tried the new foundation it is trully comfortable on the skin and very nice in giving a dewy not oily finish.
