thank you ladies so much! it was my first make over. all the MAs at the stores were starring at me so suprised i went in with no make up and the red scars were very obvious so when it all dissapeared it was like magic ! she did use select concealer though so that did help.

Im with the other ladies CoralBlast...you look very pretty!! You had the same happy experience with the Mineralize as I did. I was wondering if the Skin Refined Zone at a CCO since it will be a bit cheaper?

I really want to try this foundation!! I'm nc43 and there is no nc43 shade with this foundation. There is only nc42 and nc44...which one should i go for???

The sPNation just sold this foundation and the 130 to me!! The 130 looked super tiny when he pressed it on his cheek!! The 130 is £27!

I'm happy that the Prep + Prime Skin Refined Zone is going to be permanent! I thought last year that it was going to join the permanent line with the Translucent Powder and Line Filler. I have ran out of it and will get another one when summer starts to get near. I'm also want to go get color matched with this foundation instead of having to guess which foundation shade would suit my skin.

Wish I could join in the fun of all the foundation talk but I am allegic to anything with SPF

I do want to try the 130 brush, however both MAC counters that I went to today were missing the brush from the display. Next time I"ll be sure to not try and view a new product on the weekend.... when 100 grubby little hands are all reaching for it too. LOL

I've told myself this before but seem to always find myself at MAC on a weekend. Grrrr. I'll learn my lesson soon enough

Here's a video I found and the girl mentions the Sonia Kashuk Flat Top brush being just as nice as the 130. She talks about the Sonia one a few minutes in. I looked for it in Target and all the shelves were bare in the one I stopped in. I think they may be doing inventory. Even the shampoo aisle had mostly things on clearance and bare shelves.

Re: new MAC foundation & 130

I heard they will both be permanent. I bought the 130 and love it! The foundation seems nice too, not sure if I would purchase though because I have oily skin and after wearing it 3 hours my face was kind of shiny. Hth

She is darling in this video

However, I have this Sonia Kushak flat top brush and I would NOT compare it to the MAC 130 brush at all!

I know... but shipping to Mexico is expensive and tricky. Customs always retain my goodies, make me pay extra taxes and they don't even phone me to say "we have this here and you have additional taxes to pay". I hate it and I stop getting things online long ago... maybe I should give it a try one of this days to see if anything has changed.

I have totally not been following this thread, but am almost out of foundation, so I may try this... Forgive me if these questions have already been asked but:

What are you guys using to apply other than the 130 brush? Is the effect the same?

How is the coverage? I need something that will cover acne scarring. Is it buildable?

you should ALWAYS get matched whenever trying a different foundation. you won't always be the same colour throughout all the formulas. even if one formula runs darker than another, it doesn't mean all the shades in that formula will run darker.

NW43 in Studio Sculpt did the same thing the NC50 did so we went with NW45, which looks so much better. That's what I got in the Mineralize Foundation yesterday and what I wore for years in a pressed powder MAC had back in the day!

yeah, they were actually mislabeled. our trainer was shocked when he heard that we never got notice to send em back because of the mislabeling. nc 50 is 55, and nc 55 is 50.

MSFN is a sheer-medium powder coverage. the mineralize spf is medium-builable foundation coverage. the foundation has far more coverage than the powder any day of the week.

. She didnt call it a primer either. I keep thinking it was a metal tube but I'm not sure. Whatever it was it has really helped the makeup stay fresh looking.

the skin refined zone does not minimize your pores. your pores can not/will not ever change size.

it minimizes the APPEARANCE of pores because it exfoliates the debris out of your pores (the debris stretches your pores out).

it also mattifies your skin.

it will not make your makeup stay on longer.

application:
-moisturizer
-skin refined zone (t-zone only)
-foundation

we don't put the brushes in the displayers out my counter because they tend to grow feet and walk away. that, or custies use it, put it back, and then other custies use it after them, before we have time to clean it.

medium-buildable with the 130 or 191. natural satin finish. best for dry skin, but any skin can use it.
