If you do get a chance though, preorder the brush! My pro store only got in 6 and they don't know when they will get new shipment on it.....

And the foundation shades are a little off...in Studio Sculpt i'm NC40 but in this new one i'm NC35....

My store won't sell the brush or the foundation till the 18th! based on what ppl are saying, I prob have to get re-matched for this foundation. In studio sculpt I wear NW25 and in studio fix I mix NW30 with NW25....who knows what this new one will be like. I'm excited to try it though

^ Same here, let me know what you end up with. I will prob just drive to the free-standing store Thursday and get rematched with the foundation. That way I can pick up Fleshpot, the brush, and some other stuff I wanted from Spring Forecast and Riveting

Yes get rematched b/c the foundation runs DARKER! I used to be a NC35 but during the winter and monthly facials, my skin is much lighter now. I am a NC30 but in this foundation I am a NC25. So a shade or so lighter would probably be your best bet.

Uh-oh! I am already NW15 so I am worried that that might be too dark for me.

I hope that they still have the brush in stock by the time I get to go to the PRO store next weekend.

I'm a NW15 and the NW15 in this foundation still matched my skin. And for the girls having trouble with the streaking my MA applied it with the MAC #116, he said it was a new way they learned at update and I had no streaks when he did it that way with mine!

The lighter colors vary in this that is why if you are fair skin, you may match up correctly because the color range is limited. But medium and darker skintones will be a tad off.

as with other mac foundations, the season doesn't matter.

any location currently selling the foundation and brush are doing so without authorization. we got this in stock a couple weeks ago, along with the new displayer for it, but it isn't supposed to be sold until the 18th. mac keeps track of sell thru on new launches/products, which is why launch dates are specific. if they launch it early at one location, they launch it early at all locations (with the exception of pro locations).

glam, sounds like your location put it out when they got it in stock, not paying attention to the official launch date.

They have. Because the new displayer is even out for them. But I am assuming their director of sales/marketing knows about it. All I know is that all the launches prior to Lillyland didn't do well including Lillyland so they thought they put out the brush and the mineralized foundation since its permanent and people will most likely buy these items. That is my guess.

i'm nw15 too and it works just fine for me. all other mac foundations are too dark for me.

i don't get why some have trouble with the foundation applying streaky with the brush, i can't even see the foundation after i buffed it in with the 130

i guess it's best to try it out at the store first as it doesn't seem to work for everyone!

I think its all in the application really. Those who say its streaky, try just taking a dab of foundation on the brush or on you hand (better this way as it warms it up a little since its cream) and apply it circular motion. This brush is very dense even though its a tiny lil thing. But it does the job so perfectly and gets every area or inch of your face. My skin turned out flawless in the end and I used to use my 180 brush and it beats that in a heart beat!

I ordered the #130, I couldn't take a chance that is was or wasn't permanent (because you never know with them).

I wish MAC would release more brushes preferably the ones like Sonia Kashuk (crease and flat top synthetic) stick a MAC handle on it, wait for all the bashers to say they are stealing and I would be at the door when they were released.

I need all my brushes to match goteffindammit!
