I usually can't wear reds that have a lot of brick or brown in them - very aging for my coloring. JAB has just the right amount for me that it doesn't look wrong. You definitely can handle reds with more brick/brown in them than I can. On you, the brown doesn't come out as much and it just looks rich.
Also, JAB is very glossy. I think of it as a more casual-style red, rather than all the way glamour. I usually get compliments from women in their 50s when I wear it, hehe - it's very 80's. The red from Divine Night has got the same finish style as JAB, but it's more of a bright party red, if you're wondering what's similar. The glossy but opaque texture is the main thing with both of these.
I honestly don't recommend anyone run around trying to "catch up" on LEs they missed, unless they find them at a CCO or can get them brand new at the original price. There is always something new coming up, and more often than not, it's a better formula or a more up to the minute trend for the color and/or texture. You like mattes - there's Hearts Aflame coming up in ANR - you might really prefer that to JAB anyways!
