And steve madden copies off high end designers alllll the time. Hasnt stopped me from buying em lol. I cant afford the real thing. I dont like bootlegs of the real things tho (ex. Saying its louboutins when its fake. Just get the same style from a different brand for cheaper price)

Yea I said that "spoiled rich girls".. I'm sorry anyone that will pay $178.00 for a plain t-shit or a simple summer dress that isn't even a designer brand is cray cray and just has money to throw around. The only thing I would buy from that site is the shoes I love Steve madden and Jeffrey Campbells. Your friend scored on the $30 shoes must have been when they have their clearance sale cause I never see shoes listed for that price

I don't think it's for rich girls. I think it's for people who don't care to waste their money whether they have it or not lol. There's so many way better brands in that price range! With quality being there. Most companies these days copy designers. Luckily high end designers have a targeted audience that wouldn't buy copies. Forever21 is a huge copy cat yet there seems to be one in every city. I don't think many people care, I sure don't lol

It's not the end of the planet if it isn't Prince Noir. First off, PN is matte, but not super matte, so if you love that retro matte effect, you're not getting it with PN. Also, PN is less fussy to apply than some vampy colors, but it's not easy peasy. You still have to take care to avoid unevenness. Finally, it's a lovely color, but it's more red-based and "normal" than TTT or Punk Couture. I can definitely envision better formulas and shades than PN. I will admit PN is one of my best vampy lipsticks, but there's always room for improvement! Bring on the new LEs!
I for one have never understood the hype of PN. I put it on last night, just to see if I still did not like it, and yes, it was a little uneven and for a matte, it does have a lot of slip, shine. It's a brownish burgundy and I don't care that much for it. It borderlines giving me that two pack a day look. Yes, I too envision a better shade than PN from this collection.

If anything, there's been some major advances with matte textures since PN came out. I think the holy grail of vampy colors that also apply very evenly is just about here too. When it comes to this sort of thing, NEW is better than any of the old colors, no matter how nice they are, as far as I'm concerned. This is making me think about Potent Fig mattene, lol - super ultra gorgeous color, but oh my lord, total PITA to apply and maintain through a night (forget about maintaining through a whole day). Even TTT is easier to deal with than that one.

NEW is GOOD!

I sure don't mind a better formulated version of PN at all! (if that is what one of the colours resembles) I love those kinds of colours and I know with a description like "matte, bold & vampy" I'm more than likely going to be one happy gal!

I would love to see Potent Fig in the regular matte formula...

@liba I need your opinion and since you give the best advice what do you think of just a bite? I'm kicking myself in the rear for never getting it. Do you know any Mac lipstick that would you consider close to it ?

$48 for this vintage Nasty Gal decontructed tee. Ummm...no. $2 for a plain tee at Walmart and 10mins with an exacto knife.
What the hell?!?! $38 for that? Half of it is missing, or maybe I'm just gettin too old. I am reaching a landmark age in November...
Macklemore was right,38 dollars for a tshirt sure is getting swindled :D I had never heart of Nasty Gal either, to be fair it sounds like a sex toy company o_O
Haha!! :)

I usually can't wear reds that have a lot of brick or brown in them - very aging for my coloring. JAB has just the right amount for me that it doesn't look wrong. You definitely can handle reds with more brick/brown in them than I can. On you, the brown doesn't come out as much and it just looks rich.

Also, JAB is very glossy. I think of it as a more casual-style red, rather than all the way glamour. I usually get compliments from women in their 50s when I wear it, hehe - it's very 80's. The red from Divine Night has got the same finish style as JAB, but it's more of a bright party red, if you're wondering what's similar. The glossy but opaque texture is the main thing with both of these.

I honestly don't recommend anyone run around trying to "catch up" on LEs they missed, unless they find them at a CCO or can get them brand new at the original price. There is always something new coming up, and more often than not, it's a better formula or a more up to the minute trend for the color and/or texture. You like mattes - there's Hearts Aflame coming up in ANR - you might really prefer that to JAB anyways!

I'm more excited about the makeup than the brand. I love NG for some of the aesthetic but my broke ass can't buy from there. Some of their stuff is corny AF tbh! Thats why I  goodwill :)

@liba Thanks! That's the exact advice I was looking for I was close to paying $30 bucks for JAB cause I thought the color was gorgeous and I must have. I love your way of thinking about not trying to play "catch up" you are completely correct I think I get caught up more with the hype sometimes. I'm going to keep my eyes open for Heart Aflame
