So... Mac requires tax on shipping?? Wtf!!!
I checked out my total with free, second day ($5), and overnight ($10) ..... And the total tax changed. That is completely bizarre. I am not paying tax on shipping!

so got Early Morning MB, Twilight Falls MES, Blonde and Redhead MSF, Hot Spell lipglass, and Pillow Talk and A Perfect Day lipstick. If the blushes dont go too quickly I might pick up a different one later and a few more of the shadows if i love TF...

Hmmm I'm second thinking a blush, now I kinda want one. What would the best be for NC15 with yellow undertones?

Crap I just cant make up my mind here.. I have been researching like crazy with this collection. I can seem to decide on Daylight. I compared T's swatch of it with Circa Plum and they look a like. But Purplerinne says its a lavender grey. This coll is drivin me nutty haha

I'm with you on the blushes. I'm fairly sure I'm going to skip them, I have too many blushes in my possession....but they keep nagging at me! I'm NC15 too but with neutral undertones, so not sure which ones would be more flattering on me. Subtle Breeze and Early Morning look pretty enticing. Fresh Honey looks gorgeous, too, but I have a feeling it would not suit me but mostly by sight alone, my eyes go "Orange??? whaat?"

As for Daylight, I loved that color, too. I just picked up Circa Plum because I think they're similar enough in hue where the pigment would be a better buy over the MES. I think Daylight is a smidge lighter than CP, but otherwise they're pretty darn close to one another.

I hear ya on the nagging, I say when in doubt It's best to just skip. My MAC store is 1 hour away so I do most of my buying online, so I have to be careful with what I buy. And I so hear ya on Daylight. I took T's swatches of circa and daylight and put them next to each other in paint. And yeah they are very very close. So its back to me passing on this collection.
Thanks for your thoughts hon, they really helped :)

Everyone enjoy thier hauls!

That's very true :) skipping is hard at times, but for the best of intentions. It's best to buy something I really, really like and I know that I will use over something that just looks pretty lol.

Oh yeah. I'd love to go and swatch this stuff in real life, but the best bet is the Nordstrom counter at the mall near me, and they usually sell out of stuff pretty quick if I don't get a chance to go there the day of the launch. There is a freestanding MAC store equal distance, but it's in a pretty popular shopping "village" so they usually sell out of the popular items the first day, too. Not to mention parking there is kind of obnoxious :-/

I just prefer to do online shopping since I can get the items I want and even if I have to wait a few days for the black box to come, I know it's worth it :) and seeing online swatches and deciding on those hasn't left me astray yet!

You're welcome :) you've helped me, too, so thank you! I don't feel the urge to add a blush to my shopping cart! lol

I've made the misake of getting products just because how it looks on Christine from T. Not anything against her, I just have learned her coloring is so different, so it always ends up looking weird on me. So it's good to see people like Alluras swatches cause shes closer to my coloring. Plus she shows it swatched live, which really helps (I believe you are on here right? Love your blog girl!) So I've been doing most of my decisions off of hers. Though I do enjoy T's too, even though sometimes she can be off on her reviews. But everyones opinions are different. I dont feel bad about skipping with S3/C3, Chen-men, and Extra Demention coming out, They all look very promising.

Oh good I'm glad I could help you as well! I was very tempted, but am trying to trust my gut on this one :) I did get Party Parrot and Flamingo from Iris, so I'm good till S3/C3

Yay! I got through to my friend. I got:
Fresh Honey MB
Subtle Breeze MB
Early Morning MB
A perfect Day L/s - Which I am super tempted to back up. Should I? it looks like the perfect nude.

Did anybody get a Sandy Beach L/s?
That one also tempted me><"

Ok folks, since I always ask this when a nude lipstick collection rolls along - do any of the lipsticks compare to Flutterby from the 2005 Madame B collection? It's my go-to nude (it had the right amount of pink to keep me from looking sick when I wore it), and I've been looking for a dupe ever since!

I didn't get that one. But I did pick up Pillow Talk, which I haven't heard a lot about either. It seems to be a guessing game with Nude lippies. You can see a million swatches but they still end up looking SO different depending on lip pigmentation, skintone, etc. Sometimes you just have to jump in and try one to know for sure. Then, if you find the PERFECT nude, you better BU it up!! I'm still searching myself. Can you go to a store to try them on?

Oops. I meant did anyone buy beach sand lipstick? I was kinda tempted by that one.

I ordered EM and Summer Haze. I decided against Twilight Falls because while it's super pretty I'm only going to use brown every so often. Whenever I want to do a neutral eye the Naked palette and NARS Mekong will suffice. I'm trying in 2012 to only get items I'm sure I will use past the first month of owning it and the excitement wears off. I can't wait for that blush though.

Kudos to MAC! They must have anticipated us on the website last night. I ordered last night between 5-6 pm my time (PST) and by 11 pm (again my time) I had a ship notice.

Great plan for 2012! I think you will love Early Morning, I do. I wore it today with Summer Haze on the lid, In the Sun in the crease and Romp on the outer V with Wonder Woman bronze lipglass in Secret Identity. I just got home and Early Morning looks the same as it did this morning. I would have thought it would have faded but it didn't. Love it. I may have to force myself to switch out of it this week.
