MAC Nudes & Metallics Collection (April 2013) Pro Store Only

I got the same answer. I tried ordering over the phone but they only had the Metallic lipsticks and the blushes in stock. No nude shadows or lippies.

I'm thinking since it's been a little over a week since I ordered over the phone (maybe closer to 2 weeks) that might explain why they have sold out of almost everything. I really need to call and order my Stylish Me blush. I hope the really do end up selling then online but it's starting to look like this collection might disappear quietly. It may be a supply issue because they obviously don't have a problem selling this line...it sold quickly at it's initial launch and it's moved. Pretty well via phone orders.

I haven't put any MC.LP all over my face yet. When i do i'll keep Erine's suggestion in mind that Truth & Light may work, but Honey Rose is better as a highlight, as I often use loose powder all over my face. I recently used one as a highlight - T&L i think - and it did indeed feel cool and moist, which is good for my sometimes overheated cheeks.

The two that are being discontinued - Truth & Light and Cajun - were released in the Venomous Villains collection as part of the Dr. Facilier subset. The current packaging is standard. If you were thinking about getting any, i'd say now's the time.

At least you have some good basics down for skin. I think that's the most important part, cuz that's the make or break part of a makeup look. Just face product alone can be a look in itself. But if i know what kind of look/product/colour you like, i can make some suggestions.

How is it in comparison to something like FM? I know it's being d/c'd but I have 3 FM's and can't decide if I want another BU or if I should try this instead.. as chances are I'd never run out of this. I rarely ever finish loose powders and if I'm not mistaken there does look like there's a lot of product in there.

Plus I know me...since I'd get to deal with Canadian CS again I'd probably end up buying b/u off all of the shadows. I will get a lot of use out of these both personally and in my kit. Yup! I use a 187 and apply it all over. And I'm not stingy with it either, so I'm surprised it's lasted as long as it has too!

I suspect they're trying to work out their RiRi fiasco and subsequent supply issues, then maybe this will come out. It seemed to do well in the PRO shops.

I REALLY REALLY REALLY want the metallic eyeshadows:

Brazenly - Deep metallic purple
Crimson Tryst - Deep metallic mid-tone berry
Love's Lure - Metallic deep red

I certainly hope this comes out. I did manage to get Dominate lipstick. But i want those eyeshadows!

Left to Right (over Miliani shadow primer)

Crimson Tryst, Inglot 450, Brazenly, Inglot 446

Crimson tryst has a more berry tone to it where 450 has a gold sheen kind of like Cranberry

Brazenly has a more red undertone wheres 446 is more blue.

All have the same softness and metallic look.

I think the RiRi issues and this collection aren't connected. The collection has been pushed back several times prior to the RiRi fiasco so I don't think the two have anything to do with each other. It would be nice if they would admit what the issue is though.
