Erin is the ultimate Specktra enabler lol I hear you on the budgeting thing. Its getting harder and harder to buy now but Inglot is definitely worth every penny.  There isn't a shadow that is hard to pick up color, the mattes are a bit powdery in pan but show up very well on the lids. On me fallout isn't an issue but I have heard some have the shimmer bits appear on the cheeks. Especially with the AMC and & DS shadows. AMC 61 is this pretty black with blue and purple shimmer that I read somewhere didn't translate from pan to eye all that well but probably using Pixy Epoxy would be helpful.

I wear T&L all over my face every day!
What is the effect of this powder? How do you use it? I've been so curious..

With all this inglot talk, I need to place an order there. I have a very modest eyeshadow collection and need to build it up. I, too, am on a budget and can't afford to get all the MAC shadows I want...but Inglot is a lot more feasible. I don't have one tooo near me. Maybe I'll make a trip of it sometime. Ordering online is so overwhelming! I wish someone could just tell me "These shades will be perfect for you." and give me a list of the numbers I should get and I can just place an order.

And back to topic, I'm not surprised this didn't launch today, though I was excited thinking it would.

They really do. I couldn't skip them. I want the nudes too. Maybe if I'm lucky they won't sell as quickly and I can get a CP for them another time when I have more funds available. Ahh Banafsaji is gorgeous! Tbh though I loved every shadow from Art of the Eye. One of my favourite collections shadow wise ever.
I want the nudes as well! But I'm more of a sucker for the mineralize collection so more of my money is going to go there. Hopefully they don't sell so quick and we'll have a chance to pick them up after some time passes.

Have you used Banafsaji much? Do you do more neutral eye looks or more colorful looks? I wish I could have gotten some things from AoTE, but it came out at a time where my funds were tied up with other collections.

It's 70% water, so it's hydrating on the skin. And because it's part water, you also mix it in with liquid foundation or moisturizer without it caking up. It's adds shimmer to the skin without being glittery. Mixing with other products will lessen the shimmery effect as well. I use a 187 with T&L and apply it all over my face on top of my MSFN. Then i apply my blush and cheek highlight. T&L is great for Nc/NW 25 and fairer for allover, but those with the low end of medium toned skin can use it as a very subtle highlight. HR is a soft rose that has a bit more shimmer to it than T&L, so i recommend using it just as a highlight and not all over. Cajun is a gorgeous bronze colour with a bit more shimmer, like HR does, and too would make a great highlight on darker skintones.

At least you have some good basics down for skin. I think that's the most important part, cuz that's the make or break part of a makeup look. Just face product alone can be a look in itself. But if i know what kind of look/product/colour you like, i can make some suggestions. :)

I initially thought that I didn't NEED any backups but I'm thinking of backing up at least the metallics portion of the shadows if I still can.

I just indulged myself in more Inglot the last couple of days. Picked up 9 shadows and 7 pigments. Had to go back today and exchange one of the pigments - when I opened the box, the lid wasn't on right, the seal was broken and when I opened it, it's was 1/3 full. If you pick up any, be sure to check them before you leave the counter. I checked the rest and they were untouched.
i'm trying really hard to pretend I didn't see this post because I love inglot but because they are so much cheaper it's hard not to talk yourself into getting more. Like the shadows for the freedom system you just go "Oh $6 more won't be too bad so I could get this shadow....then it turns into well if I get 2 it would be the same if I got just one more Mac shadow." LOL Next thing you know you're looking at a 40 pan palette and thinking I'll get 10 now and 10 more later until I fill it up haha.

Called my local pro store yesterday and a rep. said they just go shipment in of several lippies but only one shadow. That's what I really wanted, the SHADOWS! So, I'm going to pay them a visit tomorrow and pick up some lippies

Hmm..I love pinks for lips and cheeks, lately im liking purple lippies too. I like easy looks for day and vampy for evenings, and if im going to play with color on my eyes, its going to be teal! I love bronzey, gold eye looks and tons of highlight with a defined contour like kim kardashian! ( dun judge! ), so if u can think of anything, let me know! Thanks gal!

Ah see, I'm skipping the mineralize collection. I have a couple MSF's (Lightscapade and S&G) but I don't use them, and I actually think my skin *may* get a slight allergic reaction to them. I'll have to test it again now my skin is clearing up properly and see. I have 2 of the EDSF's (WOG and Superb) and I've not even used them yet as I don't know which brush to use, lol. I won't buy MES/MSB's because they're just so glittery I can't stand it and nothing else ever screams to me other than maybe 1 or 2 lipsticks.

I haven't, but I also haven't been wearing much make-up lately. I'm definitely a more colourful look person though, which is probably why I'm realising I need to buy some more neutrals just to pair with them at times. I have 6 highlight shades, only 2 of which aren't shimmery as heck and I prefer a matte/satin highlight. I do actually have a lot of browns, but I don't reach for them much. Probably because I want them for the purposes of transitioning colours, but I'm never sure which to use to transition... lol.

I got all the single shadows from AoTE. I couldn't pass them up, they're absolutely gorgeous. I even BU'd Parrot because just last year I'd paid £25 for it on Evilbay. The woman didn't even ship to the UK, so I had to get a CP to buy something off eBay, and then ship it to me. Worth it though but I'll never again pay that price for 1 shadow again. I had great timing with AoTE. I hadn't been looking at any MAC collections since MM/Glamourdaze last year, other than I think 2 lipsticks from Apres Chic, so I wasn't tied up with anything else. As soon as I have my lighting sorted, which will hopefully be this week, I'll be playing all day every day lol.

Did you find a good site for eyeshadow swa tches of inglot? TBH I get so intimidated by their using numbers instead of color description. If I had good swatches maybe I could get past that.

Try Beautylish.com they are now selling Inglot (not all their stuff but most of the shadows) they were nice enough to swatch every color on light and dark skin ^_^

That's awesome. I realized I don't have a true black shadow. I need to create a small palette for myself. I'm not sure what else I need though.

I heard that Sugarpill's black shadow is the best one out there. The name escapes me though. Not Stella but something else.

Bulletproof or something like that?

I've been looking at Makeup Geek's Corrupt e/s. It seems really, really black.
