I don't like overly shiny lips unless they're nude. I'm a matte or AC lip girl. Plus i don't like how rounded the tip is. It's not precise enough for me.wah, what? why?
I would soooo buy thatSultana (originally typed that as Slutana LOL), Patentpink, & Kittenish is my prelim list to try these and may go back for Go for Girly and/or Spontaneous. Must limit myself b/c I can see already April will be a lipstick heavy month with Proenza, Playland, and BR
Yeah, that's what I was thinking too.I don't like overly shiny lips unless they're nude. I'm a matte or AC lip girl. Plus i don't like how rounded the tip is. It's not precise enough for me.
I plan on using a brush for applying these like I do with all my lip products.Hope that will work with this formula/pencils.I don't like overly shiny lips unless they're nude. I'm a matte or AC lip girl. Plus i don't like how rounded the tip is. It's not precise enough for me.
remeber that these are lip polishes -- i.e. a hardened more pigmented lip gloss. Think of chubby sticks (clinique) but with more oomph... they are not lipsticks and can be applied from the tube or with a brush. the look is not meant to be precise. Anytime I'm wearing colour on my lips, it's precise. I use lip liner and everything! I don't like the non-precise look, even in the spring/summer. :dunno: It's just my preference.remeber that these are lip polishes -- i.e. a hardened more pigmented lip gloss. Talking about precision... I turned 50 last year and I'm just starting to have problems with feathering. I bought a waxy pencil from MUFE to use outside of the lip edge, and if I wear very dark or bright colors I use a lip pencil. But if the lipstick is very creamy and dark I still see some feathering. Is there anything else that I should be using? Getting older sucks.Anytime I'm wearing colour on my lips, it's precise. I use lip liner and everything! I just remembered that I have MAC and UD primer. Duh! That's what happens when you buy too much stuff. :eyelove: Thanks, Her Greyness!no kidding.. lol but there are remedies available... there are clear lip liners (think Too faced, Cargo, LMercier) and a few others make this product. It's great because it won't add colour to your lippie or gloss and it's transparent. I use a lip primer all the time.. MAC makes a great one too and that helps. good luck!
I might just get them all and sell what I don't like.Amazing! I'm seriously thinking about getting them all...
I would wear one called "Slutana" all day erry day and TELL people "It's called Slutana!" While slowly applying it in public. LOL....no really though....Sultana (originally typed that as Slutana LOL), Patentpink, & Kittenish is my prelim list to try these and may go back for Go for Girly and/or Spontaneous. Aside from the clear liner and regular lip liner, lip primer is your best bet. Avoid glossy textures and brighter/darker gloss colours too, which tend to be more apparent when they bleed. More matte formulas tend to stay put and won't feather as much, and you can wear those bright/dark colours if they're more matte.Talking about precision... I haven't tried her lip pencils, although I do have some of her other things. I find old MAC pencils dry, but the Pro Longwear ones are fabulous. They go on easy and last forever.I know this isnt mac related.. but have many of you ladies tried Laura Mercier Lip pencils... they are the best! so creamy and easy to apply and they are consistent across the board! With Mac's I find some are ridiculous dry and tug!
