I'm the same. I used to shop around more, but I'm basically now in a monogamous relationship with Mac. I'm wearing an UD colour today and I feel like I'm cheating.

Two products? Yikes. As much as I love the idea of the shadows, I worry that metallics on my eyes will age me, so I'm going to say Love Peck and Peacocky.

That said, I don'have the slightest intention of limiting myself to two products...

i cheat on mac regularly! its okay, mac brought it on themselves

the swatch ban hasnt affected my purchases, but it did make me buy nothing from part 2 of a tartan tale. by the time swatches came i couldnt decide and now, i couldnt care less!

2 products? hard to say with out swatches but..

lip - woo me-light pinky nude

and

metal shadow - odalisque-deep teal

Without swatches, I'm not making any impulse buys (strangely enough)... I'm only buying colors I know I use (bronze/gold/brown/red/burgundy) instead of having early swatches and saying "You know, if they can wear that I'm sure I can figure out how to pull that off"... Temperature Rising, that orange lipliner from TTB, was a total impulse buy and was buying all 3 of Cunning, Kittenish & Dark Deed- I had early swatches & decided they were all different enough to justify it. I skipped all of the collections since the swatch ban b/c MAC gave me enough time & frustration to say "I don't need this" and now all of my money goes to perfume ;)

This is the next collection I'm eagerly looking forward to. Its strange that by now I would usually have a list of what I wanted. Now it seems I'm going to HAVE to go to a store the day of the release and grab what I want.

Mac has decided to really crack down on information released about launches before their official communiqués. So that means that we're lucky to see any swatches more than a few days in advance of an actual launch.

^correction: totally sucks. :(

I'm trying to stay excited for this collection and put money aside, but when I have no swatches, I can't plan! I feel like a chicken with its head cut off, however dramatic that may sound.

Maybe the discussions are quiet because people are freaked out by the new layout? Probably just me because of my age and fear of new technology.

Lack of swatches is definitely sucking. I think they are only hurting themselves with that decision. So, you understand why they did it?, because I don't at all...

Did you all see the pics posted in the swatch thread? I know, neither did I! :( This isn't the first time that a swatch thread didn't update and I totally missed some things. It was posted yesterday evening yet there are no "thank you"'s. Anyhoo, here is the blog source, whom says swatches are coming soon!!!! *tears of joy*! lol.

The joke is they had the nerve to put a watermark on the images - as if to say they were their pics in the first place!!

Well I'm not happy about the disrespect shown, but I'm happy to see pictures (whoever they came from originally). I'm trying to figure out which is which shadow. From the photos, the medium purple looks amazing (big surprise coming from me) and, although I don't think this was anything I ever intended on getting, that orange-gold colour is really nice. I can picture it really making my blue eyes pop!

When looking at those two photos I am actually underwhelmed by the eye shadows hopefully the pics aren't showing them at their full potential if they are then I can knock somethings off my permanent list instead of getting these. That's just wrong of them to take their pictures and use them as their own.
