I know how you feel about Canadian pricing. It doesn't make sense and sucks.

VAT (sales tax) has just gone up from 17.5% to 20% as of about a quarter of an hour ago here in the UK :( That means Peacocky is going to cost more than it would have done if it had been released yesterday, and that sucks

That is just absolutely ridiculous! What money grubbers - you people need to revolt against it. They better not even THINK about it (which I know they have) here in the states or else. We'll revolt against it fo sure!

I empathize with you guys trying to buy anything with that.

They HAVE been thinking about it in the States - the conservative "tax reform" guys loooove regressive taxes like the VAT.

same here. and the fact MACs prices here keep going up and up, and its to the point now that for some things if i pay $10 more i can get a way better product *cough nars cough*

yes now peacocky is more expensive, i def want less

Should I skip Love Peck? I really don't like it in Karla's swatches. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think I'm skipping Love Peck. Like Shontay said, Hang Up really is close, especially on my skin tone.

Guess I'm skipping Peacocky!

I have narrowed down my e/s "want" list to: Dalliance, Prance, Center Stage, Noir Plum, & Dandizette. My l/s list includes Woo Me, VF, Exx, & So Vain.

I am trying to narrow down this list even more b/c of the high prices for this collection. Any suggestions? What three e/s and 2 l/s from my list would be best.

I think Love Peck looks really nice and it's the type of colour that tends to work with a formula like this. I would never apply a dark, opaque colour like that without a brush though which would be annoying with this packaging because I'd have to dab my lip brush on to the application wand.

So I've ran into some financial issues and will need to cut down my Peacocky list SIGNIFICANTLY.

I'm going from

I bought some Tartan Tale eyeshadows (A Wish Come True and and Golden Crown etc) in the bigger pots and never use thm because I can't find them in my drawers... I forget I have them because they are not de-potted into my palettes.

Won't I have the same problem with these new shadows? If we can't de-pot them because they don't fit in a regular MAC palette, they'll just be floating in my drawer somewhere. What does everyone else think? Still get some no matter what?

From what I can see the quality of these shadows are superior to TT. You should try at least one and see how you like the formula.
