Not all the shadows have excatly the same texture, though all the textures are very good. I found the lighter frosty ones the smoothest like Prance, Dalliance. They are as frosty as Grand Entarance probably just go give an example. They work really well with water, so adding water gives a shiny effect instead of frosty if that makes sense. Dalliance doesn't look green on the lids, but more of a light gold on me. I keep thinking about top of the posh, it was a very pretty pink.

I had a chance to see everything today. MAC/MU lovers, the new formula is HOT! I am wearing Love Peck right now, and I ate a bagel and drank from a straw and the color is still on. Love Peck looks exactly like Dark Deed from VV. It does not look like Hang Up. Its deeper and the color is more intense. A little goes a long way. This gloss formula is weightless, but powerful; and the coverage is flawless. I read someone saying you probably don't need another lipgloss. You don't... but if you LOVE lipgloss, and its your thing, you need one of these colors.

Flaunting It is a beautiful color on. Very unique. Its the most unique color of the bunch.. I am going to say that Kissable Lipcolour borders on NARS' greatness when it comes to coverage, feel and application. The gloss is really like liquid lipstick, which is why I love NARS' glosses. All MAC glosses should be like this. I hope we see more colors later this year!

Now on to the shadows.

None of the colors are really unique enough to MAC. Seriously, Temptalia had the dupe situation correct. Dandizette is Contrast, Spectacle of Yourself is Bronze (but deeper and more intense) Centre Stage is Antiqued... what she said and more. But BABY!!! When you put these shadows on your lid, they glide on and blend effortlessly. They is really no fall out and they stay put. I was able to apply and blend the color with the 217 and that's it. Usually when I use the 217 to blend, I have to apply more color and build. Not with these. You can do windshield wiper motions for days, and still have a beautiful hue on your lids. There was no fall out and when I went to tap off the excess, little to no product came off the brush. A little goes along way here as well. I love this formula better than any veluxe pearl or starflash. Seriously, MAC could dc'd Veluxe Pearls and just do these and I would be happy.
Great review! You know how much I adore NARS lipglosses, so now I'm even more excited to get my order. I'm glad I did second day shipping, because after reading how great they are I would have been mad having to wait.

You're making me want at least one shadow now. We're about the same shade - does Centre Stage stand out on your eye? I like neutrals here and there, but I hate when the shadow matches my skin to the point I can't even really see it.

i would say its cool. it doesn't look very warm and is the truest brown of the bunch.
Thanks, I also thought it's a cool brown, but Antiqued as a dupe as me wondering. Also on Karlas swatches it looks warm. Guess I need to swatch this to see. I love your haircut btw, very classy :)

Its on the cover of Allure. As simple as they are as far as browns go - I LOVE them all.

Yes - the review is great!

It does stand out, but its not an in your face brown cause its cool. I see the sheen and its very neutral on me, alone. If you want some punch out of it by itself and you're my color, I am going to say no. You need to mix it with something else to give it some umpf. Its a basic, staple brown that will work well with other colors. I plan on wearing it with Spectacle of Yourself for a little heat. If you want more impact, go with Spectacle. Guaranteed to show up.

That color does look like the hotness. I may have to brave my messy counter so I can swatch before purchase. Might as well block the time out on my work calendar so I don't have to rush.

I'm totally in on the review of Dalliance - it would look gorgeous with Ego, which I passed on for now but hope to pick up later if I get a little more cash in! Dalliance does show up gold-ish on me, but I think Ego would bring out the touch of green you can see in the pot, especially if they were applied wet. :) It's a seriously versatile colour :)

Layla posted these for HG a while back because she couldn't get the pictures to work on Specktra - hopefully they're helpful to everyone's who's been trying to access her site but not been able to! :)

I hope this works!!!! Without saving them to my computer (I felt weird doing that), I could only figure out how to get the thumbnails. At least you can actually see something in the thread. But, I would stick with your links because you can see them larger.

It looks cool-neutral to me for sure, not warm. In pictures it's actually reminding me of the darkest shade in Chanel's holiday quad, but maybe slightly lighter. I'm trying to resist purchasing it but I don't know why I bother...lol.

UGH! Me too. Browns and greys always suck me in (I just bought that stupid grey from the Tartan Tale collection that I know I can dupe 15 times over, but it's grey and on sale...lol). I'm almost 100% sure now that I'll be going back for Centre Stage and I wouldn't be surprised if I get Spectacle of Yourself too...even though I have Glamour Check and Antiqued and they look identical, lol.

I was just finishing my cup of coffee and decided that I need a matte quad that looks like a coffee rainbow. The darkest shade would be all black with no cream, then one step down to a shade with some creamer, a few more steps down to a shade that looks 50/50 creamer and coffee, and the last shade can be cream with a splash of coffee in it. I know I must have all of these colors somewhere, but if it were released I'd probably buy 2 of them.
 I am looking for a cool (or at least) neutral dark brown, one that you could just use and be done with. I like your coffee collection idea, as long as the shades are neutral, I am all for it :) I wish I could stay away from grey eyeshadows as well. I have the TT grey as well and I really like it. Do you think Centre Stage can be a dupe for the darkest brown in the Holiday quad? I think it has a cassis coloured tint to it, at least I see it. I need a swatch break ;)

Most likely! hahaha I liked that it was a very cool toned pink but with gold thrown in. If I do, I better wear it 1 week in a row!

With all of the raving, I'm almost regretting skipping. Maybe I'll beg my mom to go with me to the MAC counter this weekend to see the stuff.
