I expected to see at least one item sold out by now. I guess the MC collection is more popular? It has four or five things sold out already.

So I got my haul last night! I am limiting myself to 2-3 things per collection this year, or passing. So I'm not feeling too bad for hauling this more expensive coll. I've been looking forward to this kind of collection since I've been into MAC...

I wouldn't be shocked. The collection is large and costs more than people are used to spending on MAC products. The colors aren't that unique either. I don't think the whole collection will be, but I wouldn't be surprised to see half of the collection at the CCO.

I bought all of them. I love eyeshadows. I couldn't resist. The texture and pigmentation look divine...and when temptalia described them all as "soft and buttery" I was done for... even tho I have all her dupe picks for these... Now I have to figure out where the heck I am going to put them...

Ah! Something weird happened with the quoting below. I almost don't want to though because I can't afford it. I need to be saving and I just spent almost $100 on that new UD set. I think I'll just keep my fingers crossed that they get repromoted or come out with more shades, because truthfully, none of the shades really wow me.

i believe it. that is why i am just getting 2 shadows right now. at least 1/4 of recent collections are showing up in the CCOs now. 1/2 of the shadows. at my CCO. firecracker, shimmermoss and humid from TTB are there. that's almost all the shadows from that collection.

I don't have the luxury of being near a CCO. It's my dream to go some day. Every time I find someone with a car to take me, the plan falls through. Therefore, I have to buy my stuff asap because I don't want to have to find someone who is selling (whether at a reasonable or ridiculous price) and I definitely hate buying items used.
ETA: Maybe I need to go ahead and finally get my license. I fear driving, though and I will be unstoppable with a car and a clear path to a CCO. That's dangerous.

I'm afraid of driving too Shontay! Luckily here I don't need a car, but sometimes I do wish I had license so I would be able to drive if needed in special occasions. Unfortunately, even if I did have a license and a car, there's no CCO's here, so that's not helping.
I just remembered I had a Chanel gloss just like Love Peck, and I gave it to my friend because I was not using it. Should I be warned here? I still want Love Peck.

Just back away from the site, Elegant. I need to do the same. I got Gulabi in my cart for some reason and the NC45.5 concealer. Heaven knows I ordered pretty much everything I was interested in last night (it spanned 3 orders). Didn't expect my haul to be that big but things kept landing in my cart.
When I was debating Gulabi a week ago, I went through my stash and reached for Girl About Town. I bought it a long time ago, wore it once and hated it for some reason and never wore it again. I tried it on again and I love it. Go figure. I think Gulabi looks more red in swatches, but I'm thinking you might not be able to tell the difference once it's on. I'm going to hold off on that.
PinkBasset, I say if you want Love Peck, get it. However, I am not one to rely on when you're trying to stop buying makeup.

Test out these, then test out your dupes - the ones you really love, keep the dupe as a back-up... the others, sell them (the dupes or the Peacocky ones, but I have a feeling they'll be the dupes! ) on here in the clearance bin! You can also depot these new bigger eyeshadows into a palette, I believe... I'm a little fuzzy on the details, though, having never de-potted any of my own shadows!

Theres such a variety...it really depends what kinda of colors you like. I thought Unflappable and Spectacle of Yourself were the most "unique"

I believe ifs just a title/classification MAC came up with for the shadow formula. Kinda like the title Veluxe Pearl or Satin. Here is the description from the color story.
