Dalliance does look gorgeous.

these two colors were made to be used together! Dalliance is going to look awesome with so many different colors.

I'm giving in and getting the mineralize foundation with my SOY order. I was in the car today and noticed my NC20 was a lil dark. I was matched a few years ago at a MAC Pro store, it always seemed like it was my color. Think I need to see how NC15 works, but I'm like crap what if it doesnt work. I'd rather be too light than too dark though. What to do?

I had a whole series of oopsies today when putting on my makeup. But I ended up liking.

I started with Indianwood paintpot, (thinking I was going to do a more bronze-y look today). Well I forgot that I was determined to try out Prance today (it and Ego came in the mail yesterday). So, I went ahead. Prance over that, then I thickly lined the eye with a green liner (it was UD Mildew), and I packed Ego over the liner (thicker on the outer half of the lower and upper line).
And while I was at it, I threw on some Sexpectations in the upper crease, and then put some of that in the middle of my lower lashline.

Something about that whole combination got me a couple of compliments. That green and the cranberry-ish with the Prance was so yummy looking. I am really picky with greens. It's one of my favorite colors, but I don't know why it's not on my eyes. But I really like Ego. Very easy to wear.

I know how everyone is acting so "meh" about the eyeshadow colors, but one thing about them - they are perfectly color matched with the kissable lippies. Yesterday I wore Paparazz-she with Exxxhibitionist and it looked fantastic. Today I wore Exxxhibitionist again, but with Furiously Fabulous, which is a gorgeous color I figured I didn't need Unflappable because of.

Guess what? Not as nice. The tone is off just enough to not bring out the warmth in the lip colour, while Unflappable's got just that bit more purple and brown undertone to compliment it better. This is something I really like about the LE collections from MAC - every product is perfectly balanced for every other - really making the whole greater than the sum of the parts. I'm still not going to run out and get Unflappable just to make Exxxhibitionist look perfect with a smoky blackish eye - I probably can blend something together with Bloodline - but I guess my point is, don't underestimate the shades of these eyeshadows. At the least, they make a superb total look with the lip colours.

I got Centre Stage and its an awesome brown. Someone said it looked like the Interview Mes and it does and I love that brown but hated it was in that form, so that's why I got it. I will do a simple smokey eye with it tomorrow with a center highlight to see how it wears on my oily lids.

Is it me but everytime I see Dalliance I just think of Cash Flow p/p.? or did someone already compare the two?

I guess I am still deciding on Odalisque since I keep saying yes, maybe not, yes, maybe, lol... It just looks so great with Noir Plum! I also feel like it's all the teal I would need. I haven't worn teals yet! But I love the 'colourful peacocky' look that Temptalia did.

Hmmm, I'm swatching UD's Jinx now, maybe this is pretty enough? I dunno...

Ugh, sorry, tough to get a good picture in this lighting!

I used Blacktrack fluidline, Definicils mascara and Vanilla as a highlight - Dalliance on the lid, Ego in the corner + crease

I have Dainty Mineralize Blush on my cheeks with By Candlelight MSF as a highlight

On my lips I have Viva Glam V lipstick & gloss topped with Wildly Refined l/g

Super subtle, because I'm running off to class! But I LOVE this colour combo! I'm having so much fun playing with these
