I stopped in at my store today, curious to see what has sold out. So far only Noir Plum is gone. Really glad I grabbed that one last week. Prance has become my everyday go to. Today I paired it with Copperplate in the crease and a heavy winged black liner. So simple and so striking.

Those three are rapidly becoming my must haves! Vex is now my go to for highlight/base - I love how it appears different colours depending on what you pair it with

I checked out the collection again today and got the itch to get Dalliance even though I wasn't keen on it the first time...of course, it was sold out.

Rather embarrassingly, I dropped the tester for Unflappable and it smashed into soooo many little pieces...with an audience. I felt like a prize d**k. Pardon my language lol but no other expression could adequately capture my shame

In my defense, the spaces for the e/s on the Peacocky display are really hard to work with!

oh dont worry about it sweetie! i bet people drop things all the time! it could have been worse, you could have taken the whole display down! one shadows isnt so bad

I went to check out this collection today. The eyeshadows and kissable kip colours were glued onto the display so i couldn't see the name of the products.
Anyways I hauled so much but what really surprised me were the kissable lip colours, they are awesome. 3 of the ones that I wanted were sold out so I will check out other counters.

I keep checking the MAC site for Dalliance - just being hopeful! I am not done with this collection but sadly it's done with me! Lol. Never again will I allow a late start to an awesome collection, bed ridden-ly sick or not! Even if I have to start asking for favors, makeup favors

I missed out on dalliance too, the MA and I decided it was too light for my nc44-45 skin... Anyone that skin tone using it?

^ oh no..I am an NC20 but I did so much testing for these es, and I used this on an NW50 gal.. and it looked perfect.

What was the MA thinking? Dalliance is pigmented enough and shimmery enough that I think it could work on any skin tone.

I have to go with what the others said- the MA didn't know what she was talking about. The texture and pigmentation of these is rich and lustrous, so it wouldn't have the same tendency to turn ashy or disappear on darker skin tones. I haven't tested it to see, but I suspect from the feel of these shadows that they would actually show less variance from one skin tone to another than regular shadows. Regardless, Dalliance would look beautiful against darker skin, I'm certain.

I agree about Dalliance...I can imagine it being sooo gorgeous on any skin tone. I would think the shimmery goodness and beautiful colour would show up even more on darker tones....oooh prettyy
