MAC - Peacocky discussion

I missed out on dalliance too, the MA and I decided it was too light for my nc44-45 skin... Anyone that skin tone using it?
I admit I was a little skeptical at first, especially since Dalliance could come across as rather silvery (whitish shades didn't look too good on me). But Dalliance was great! I could use it all over my eyelids, put on eyeliner, and it already looked absolutely gorgeous. I think it's golden / champagne undertone played a great part for this :).

I have to say though, some MAs over here got lost too when I asked about color recommendations for me

I tried some looks with the Peacocky e/s and the Tartan Tale pigments and I really loved these combinations:

-Ego btw. Odalisque + Moonlight Night

-Noir Plum btw. Dandizette + Later

-Unflappable btw. Centre Stage + The Familiy Crest

I put the e/s allover the lid and used the pigments for the crease and in the outer V (always over the e/s).

Do any of you lovely ladies know of any online sites that still have Woo Me in stock? (UK sites or USA/Canada ones that ship internationally) TIA

I think Mac is one of those companies that requires their official distributors not to sell their make up outside of their country.
And it is still too early for these to pop up on discount websites. I'd say ebay would be your best shot, or maybe someone would be willing to do a cp for you?

Went to MAC yesterday to check out the products and must say that I was surprised by how pigmented the lipcolours are. Seemed to me that everything is too bright/dark. Was supposed to get Flaunting It but it was too dark for me, my lips look like they're cyanotic. Got Scandelicious instead, Prance and Mating Call shadows. And still waiting for my pre-ordered items from the US to be shipped. The anticipation is killing me.
Thanks for this! Obviously being new to MAC I had no idea about those distribution laws but it's definitely good to know! I have spied one on eBay but I think it had a buy it now price of £27.99  I'm not desperate for it though so I don't mind waiting and keeping my eyes peeled
I never knew that, thanks so much! I just noticed you're in Lincoln, not far from me - I shop mostly online though as I don't think there is a MAC stockist in Lincolnshire.. Is the nearest Nottingham?

I can't believe that at first I thought I could skip this collection because I have so many e/s. I am so in love with these. Dalliance seems to go with everything. If I'm in a hurry I can put it all over from lashes to brow and then Ego on lid, just a simple but pretty green. Ego is amazing with a base under it. I used UD Shadow pencil in Narc and then Ego on top and BAM! gorgeous bright color.

Shontay, you got me hooked on these UD shadow pencils.

You with your gorgeous swatches now have me eyeing more of these, especially Delinquent.

Thanks for the feedback, I found it at my Nordstrom downton Chicago, along with Golden Lariat (does a lil dance), so I'm excited. I think the gold/champagne undertone is exactly what I'm looking for.
