Ah ok...I just thought that these fine shimmering particles might be responsible for the sunburn because they reflect the light.
I think that snow has got such an effect too....I do not know if those shimmering particles in the concealer are "strong" enough to cause a sunburn.
It just came into my mind

If anything, products containing mineralized powder offer natural protection from UV radiation.

I definitely do think these run light. I normally wear NW15 but it was way too light. Got it in NW20 and it is a perfect match.

I think that's true. I noticed that the MSF Natural is actually looking too light now that winter corpse affect is gone.

Has anybody tried the mineralize loose as a setting powder. I love to use msfn in light as a setting powder but it is slightly too dark. The mineralize loose comes in extra light so I am thinking of trying it...

I find the loose mineralize powder too yellow-based for pinkish NW complexions. Let us know if it works for you.

I am insanely in love with MAC's new Mineralize eye cream - it's eradicated darkness due to dryness, besides even getting rid of very pesky wrinkles nothing else has ever managed to control. Ask for a nice big sample and try it out - it's great.
There are very few eye creams with SPF out there. Rodial makes one and I really love their products, but they're quite expensive and also difficult to get, because they're only a very small boutique brand and the demand far outweighs their production. I actually haven't used their eye cream yet, though I use their day and night moisturizer and their serums. For now, I don't think I will need to spend the big bucks for it, since the mineralize eye cream is doing such an excellent job.....why argue with success?
I am going to try the mineralize concealer too after reading this... Sounds great!

thats what I am thinking too...I find the msfn light leans slightly yellow....its only really noticeable when I use a powder puff....if it's just a light dusting with a powder brush its not so bad. I am loving the prep and prime finishing powder at the mo as it has a lovely finish and you don't have to worry about shade matching but I would just like an option for days when I want a little extra coverage. I will let you know how I get on......I think I will end up sticking with the p&p powder and just using a little extra concealer on those days when I want a bit more coverage!

So I bought the Mineralize loose foundation in extra light and it's a bit too dark. Does anyone know why this is? I was thinking extra light has to be pretty pale and should work great. I am NW15 and the MSF Natural in Light in lighter the this. I am a little confused.

Weird indeed! I have bee eyeing that extra light loose foundation, but if it's darker than MSFN Light, then it's definitely too dark for me. I did swatch it on my hand at counter, the shade and paleness seemed okay, but I wonder if it's different when worn on the face?

Did it oxidize or was it too dark from the beginning?

It actually blends fine on my hand, but is at least a half a shade too dark. If used very lightly it's ok but if you wanted a bit more coverage it does end up looking too dark. I was hoping maybe I got the wrong shade but it says extra light on it so I guess not. Very disappointed though. :(

Seems to be too dark right away. I thought maybe mixing it with Prep + Prime transparent finishing powder/loose might work?
Quite honestly, I would swap or sell it. If it's too dark right away, P&P will only help a tiny bit and once it oxidizes during the day, it will be even darker.

Are you NW or NC? I found the Mineralize Foundation too yellow (which might translate into dark) for NW complexions.

NW15. The concealer is perfect though! I was hoping they would match in color.

Yeah I got a sample and found it too yellow but the concealer in nw15 is perfect

What do you think of the concealer? I might give it another for the summer months.
I got a sample of it and really like it so I will be buying it. I love the texture and blendability. It has similar coverage to the moisture cover but I find it easier to blend

I love this too! I was using Blot Powder but it's not mattifying enough for me during the summer months. I tried P&P transparent finishing powder yesterday and I didn't need to apply powder again until evening. I did blot once at work but that's nothing for me. I usually need to blot and/or apply more powder by the time I get to the office (perhaps 90 minutes after my makeup goes on). LOVE this product.

I'm also using the mineralized concealer but I think I need a different option for days when my dark circles really are bad. I like the concealer for an everyday light use but something with more staying power would be great. I like the natural dewy finish of this one though and am not keen to switch to something cakier.
