I'm OK with the dentist, but I'd like a nice massage beforehand too, please!  Reminds me of a cute old movie, where a girl pays for her name up on a giant billboard to turn herself into a sensation: Sounds like you need a romantic weekend getaway with MAC.   gotta get that spark back! :haha: He better appreciate he has a mom who knows what that is in the first place. :urock:  I'm sure you'll find a good time to bring up this whole saga to him for a laugh.  I'd say if you wanted one combo, go for Toying Around + Live It Up, based on your photo, or if you like something light - then do Sweet Experience + Brightside!
liba you just don't know how you just made my day. Toying around + live it up sound so beautiful. I want to do sweet experience and bright side also but that's where it starts getting expensive. I want lots of laughs also but I'll try and grab them all. Thanks for brightening this dull day I've been having! :)

My wisdom teeth didn't start coming in until I was 30/31. I can't remember what age. My husband (at the time my b/f) drove me toy appointment to have them removed. While they were waiting for me to "sober up" he came in and sat next to me while I was somewhat awake. I don't smoke so I could smell it on him. I looked straight at him and said You've been smoking! and immediately passed out again. The nurse burst out laughing. He was suppose to have quit...

While i was waking up from having my wisdom teeth out (at age 15), i told the dentist that his socks didn't match his pants-black socks, brown pants. Then as the nurse was walking me out as my mom was bringing the car around, i kept asking her what her name was over and over again. To this day, 18 yrs later, anytime my mom runs into the dentist, he always makes a point to show her that his socks match his pants.

Sorry for the stupid question but in USA you can have "total" anesthetic to remove wisdom teeth? One of my wisdom teeth has been removed this summer with topical anesthetic and it was somewhat a tragic event though not so painful nor so long..
back on topic, I need more swatches but I'm not that interested in this collection.. I fell like I already have those kind of lipsticks!

I'm with you, Erine! Knock me out and wake me up when you're done. In Cali I got knocked out or sedated for everything. I moved back to Pgh and they won't do it for any in-office procedures. If they stick a needle in my back for a steroid shot, nothing. And to have a camera pushed up into my bladder? Nothing. It sucks.

Yeah they won't sedate you for those cuz they aren't invasive.

Let me know how they work out for you. My biggest concern was the heat.. but I guess I can deal with it if they look great.
I have the 3 (clear bulbs) strip on each side & dang they get SO hot...

I have them on a dimmer switch for non-makeup use

Yup, 5000 (natural daylight) is the colour of the light. The lower the number, the softer and more yellow the light, which is what you don't want.
I got a giggle out of the fact that you are going to do your own electrical work ...better wear a rubber....or something rubber

I wouldn't want to see my wifey get shocked

Hello there!!

To that obviously stressed out attorney, the ladies of this thread are most welcoming and friendly. While this is a first comment for me, I have watched this thread to see glimpses of Playland and quite enjoyed the camaraderie. Seek to cause friction on some other blog and take your nonsense elsewhere. . THANK YOU.

And have any of you ever purchased "all the items" from a collection? I am seriously planning to do that with this one.

:)

I don't know what's wrong w/me. I use a MAC product every single day, but the latest collections have
just left me uninspired---this is just so unlike me.

The hygienist didn't announce what she was doing---she engaged me in conversation and started rubbing my
earlobes---I honestly thought it was a little creepy at first, but realizing the strategy I relaxed and thought it was
brilliant!

Liba this was hysterical! I couldn't stop laughing---I was laughing so hard that I frightened the dog. I think if she
were able to, she would have dialed 911.

I have the Vanity Hollywood Mirror and have been looking to get new bulbs. The ones that come with it are 25W 120V and they give off a horrible orange like light. Called the company and they were no help in regards to which ones to change it to. So thanks for this Erin! I will look into the 5000 natural daylight ones this weekend :)

Guilty! I still remember the first MAC collection where I purchased all the things. It was Peacocky.

Then there was Extra Dimension 2012 and 2013, By Request 2012 (and maybe 2014), Fashion Sets 2013, and last but not the least... Huggable!

I don't see myself buying all the things from this collection, but I have 6-8 items on my list.
