I purchased all three of the shadows and the lipgloss. What can I say I am an eye shadow junkie!

I only got Hey since Prepped for Glamour looks like a less shimmery Satin Taupe and Sorcery looks like Sketch. I loooooved Just Add Colour but I didn't get it. It was very pigmented, creamy and vibrant!! I think I will go back and get that next week or this weekend if I have time.

Oh! Thanks to Flaminbird, I can totally skip Sorcery since I have Heritage Rouge p/g!! Still ignoring this collection....

I can't decide if I should get Hey.

It looks like such a pretty colour, but I already have Naked Lunch. From the swatches I've seen, they look quite similar. But I'm a sucker for champagne/peachy colours. I'm also trying to enforce a no-buy for myself. Is this worth breaking the rules for?

I caved and bought Just Add Colour l/g...and it is the perfect hot pink lip I've been searching for when layered over Utter Fun l/s!

Hmmm, I think I am back to skipping this collection then

lol. Which feels good really. I've also skipped Riveting and it feels like I skipped Lilyland
lol.gif
I had but then later decided on a blush, which my sister got for me and owed me that amount of money anyways

I may be skipping a couple more, or otherwise getting a couple items if anything.

Maybe one day I can afford to go to one of the warehouse sales and find Prepped For Glamor e/s there if I truly need it later on

But right now, Satin Taupe sounds like it will work fine in it's place! ST was already on my wishlist of perm

Not imo. I saw this collection yesterday and left with nothing. Hey is too frosty for me. I liked the darker shadows but don't really do dark on my eyes much anymore.

If you have All That Glitters e/s or Retrospeck e/s, you can safely skip Hey e/s. I'm so tempted to get another Hey e/s since that color is too gorgeous! I have to try and be good and not cave anything from thisc collection, especially Just Add Color e/s!

I got Hey for myself and all 3 for my sister in law, they are all really pretty. I thought Prepped for Glamour was really pretty even tho it is basically Satin Taupe. Kinda tempted to get it but I have bought wayyy too much makeup lately!

^Me too. I'm on a tight budget on makeup and trying to save up for a trip to LA for the IMATS if I ever do go this year.

Hey is soooo pretty!! Im so glad I got it!! It's a peachy/champagne color on me. I don't have All that Glitters or Retrospeck so I can't compare the three.

I saw this collection yesterday and didn't buy anything. The lipglass is hot! I think I'll be fine without Hey.

I skipped this collection. Although all the three eyeshadows are very very pretty, I have Hey already plus the dupes for the others. If I didn't have those I would definately buy them, these colours are good ones to have.

The serum was interesting but since it will be available later I didn't get it right now. The MA said it acts like a skin brightening primer and when using it you don't need to put another primer before foundation.

sorry, but your MA is wrong. tho this is part of the prep & prime collection, the serum is not a primer, and does not perform the same functions as a primer. its plumps and brightens the skin, it does not keep makeup on longer like a primer. this goes on before your moisturizer. if a primer is needed, it is to be applied following your moisturizer.

^ I believe there's no wrong or right, but I think she had a point saying it might too much to pile product after product to your face.

I reallllly wanted it but if it's less pigmentation than ST, I'll just skip.

Okay, I caved and ordered Prepped for Glamour!
I was seriously unhappy with the way my Macroviolet went on this morning, so I decided that I am not facing another Sunday without a 209 brush.
I went to order the brush, and it seemed kind of silly to place an order for just one item, and I know myself well enough to realize that I'd probably eventually buy Prepped for Glamour anyhow, so I tossed it in!
If it's similar to satin Taupe, maybe I can just figure out a way to wear them together. I am getting entirely too good at this rationalization thing ...

i agree you don't want to layer ten million things on your face. that wasn't my point, or the MA's point (going by what you originally wrote). i was just saying that she was wrong in saying that if you use this you don't need a primer, because the serum has no qualities that a primer has. the serum isn't a primer.
