Speaking of serums, has anyone tried Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch?: Sephora: Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch: Primer

It's supposed to smooth out wrinkles and other imperfections on the face...has good reviews at Sephora and is a bit less than the MAC serum, so I'm debating on getting it during Sephora's 15% off in a week or two..hmm.

It didn't work that well on my pores, but I have huge pores. I'm loving it for under the eye area. My concealer/foundation goes on nicely and though it doesn't make my fine lines any less noticeable, it makes the area look more hydrated.

I'm using Clinique's pore minimizer instant perfector now & it's working better for me. Not completely, but better.

I'm now back to passing on the Serum. I don't just want something that smooths out for makeup application. I need time-reversal, people! I found an anti-aging serum in the same line as the moisturizer I'm using, and I can use the Sephora 15% off, so I'm gonna do that instead.

So back to just a shadow or two for me.

LOL! Yeah, time-reversal would be great. I'm all for that.

I want the serum but it's so freaking expensive when I'm trying to save for other collections. C'mon money tree, sprout already!

Yes, I have Sonic Vibe but it is less bright, less fuchsia and more of a strawberry pink from what I can tell from swatches of Just Add Colour.

Is it worth it to buy the serum if you don't use foundation? I want something to brighten my skin since it looks a bit dull most days. I don't put anything else on other than moisturizer.

i would imagine it'd be very good at brightening up your skin if you don't wear a foundation. i've been using a lancome serum the past week or so and when i don't wear make up my skin still looks nice and 'fresh'.

so what serum is it? I'm really loving Korres' anti aging anti wrinkling moisturizer. I never looked my age anyways due to my genes but i don't want to wait until its too late to start using these products...

It could work. Though if you are looking for a skin brightener I think Origins Brighter by Nature serum is the BOMB! I remember the first time I used it - it was like someone switched the lights on under my skin!

Lol, I'm using Korres, too! I'm using their Wild Rose Moisturizing Cream, and I discovered there's a Wild Rose Serum. The WR line is an anti-aging, brightening line. I'm going to buy a couple of the kits, which contain the WR cream, serum, and mask, and their White Tea Cleanser and Evening Primrose Eye Cream. Each of the tubes is 1/2 the full size, so it makes a really great value, especially with the 15% off!

seeing as how the serum isn't effected by, nor does it effect, foundation, yes, you can.

Trying to decide if I want Prepped for Glamour. It seems similar to Satin Taupe, which I have and I am not a fan of. What to do, what to do?

I only got Sorcery. I was contemplating the Serum, but I don't know as I just bought a similar item from Chanel - the uv with the spf 50

Well, if you want my 2 cents, I say stick with Chanel. Maybe I'm biased b/c for the past week I've been using that illuminating primer and I am in love! it has made an indescribable difference in my skin with and without makeup.

I went and checked out the eyeshadows today, and even the MA was like "This one looks a lot like Satin Taupe.. and this one looks like Naked Lunch.. Well, no there's no point in you getting dupes of stuff you have."
