I skipped Ripe Peach intentionally. I only wanted it after it became such a hard to get item. LOL I believe every collection should be checked out by you personally. It's awesome to get someone's feedback, but it's not the gospel. One man's trash is another ones treasure, you know?

Wow. I never thought to put Memorabilia on top of Coral Crepe. That would be interesting. Memorabilia is just 10x's better than I expected. It was really pigmented when I swatched it. I couldn't leave it behind.

I think Instant Chic will work. It's not as orange as Ripe Peach. It's closer in comparison to Gina by nars. It's so smooth. At least check it out.

I know! I've been praying for corals though. It was hard for me to find corals that worked for me so I had given up and now it seems like the corals that work for me are coming down like a storm. And I will buy them all.

Hmm, I am thinking I may just order Instant Chic online when it's available, and not even tempt myself with anything else. I don't need another purple e/s, or highlight color, but I know if I see them in person, I will likely cave. I am still on the fence with Gazette Grey, but truth be told, I have only used Bough Grey one time since I got it, so I probably wouldn't get a ton of use out of Gazette Grey either. I just got lots of new e/s at the PRO store and CCO yesterday, so I am feeling less tempted by this collection. That blush though, I need.

In my opinion, Bough Grey is better than Gazette Grey anyway. You won't be missing anything. And do what you need to do if you don't really want to spend too much.
I know I'm either ordering or going in to pick up Pret-A-Papier lipglass, Tissue Weight shadow, Kraft lipstick and Paper Bag nail polish.

Thanks, Audrey. I just did a quick glance over the items in To The Beach. My haul will probably be around 10 items. I know I want that Seahorse powder for sure. I need to swatch hipness and the lustre drops are up in the air. I got Sun Rush before and it did nothing for me. Maybe Pink Rebel will work.

I am, too. I can't go overboard, either, since I splurged on some Chanel goodies. I think I'm narrowing down my list to Tissue Weight e/s, Gazette Grey e/s (maybe) Instant Chic blush, and Hey e/s (from PFC). Sticking with the no-lippie-buy, even though that coral gloss is gorgeous.

OK, so I hit the motherload today at MAC......not only did I get to see and pre-hold my items, but they made up the testers for me, and I was the FIRST to play......and BOY did I play.......

OMG, I love this collection SO much!!! Since the MA's cannot demo the products until they go on sale, I took it upon myself to do my OWN makeup (with their blessing, and full use of their brushes):

My eyes were done with Coral Crepe allover the lid, TissueWeight as a inner eye and brown highlight and Gazette Grey in the outer edge of the lid and crease. I finished it with Industry Powerpoint pencil. Blush is Instant Chic. Lips are whats left of Made to Order.
I decided to get:
Coral Crepe paint pot
Tissueweight e/s (love the texture!!)
Gazette Grey e/s (this is SO different than Bough Grey from LOL.....while BG is more of a blue-based Grey, this is more of a green-based shade--LOVE!!)
and
INSTANT CHIC blush -- definatley DROOL

I also go a chance to look through the Look Book from the MA's summer update session-- in it, I found this list of color substitutions for the Pret a Papier collection:

Now see, with Donna's review came more raves for Tissue Weight and Gazette Grey. It's the green base in GG that will suck me in. I do still have part of a giftcard left, so it's won't be a big hit in the pocketbook, but still. Ughggggg.

I just tried on Made to Order lipstick and Fold & Tuck lipglass for the hell of it. I am absolutely in love. They work wonders for my complexion. I think I need backups of both and I hardly ever do that. I only have backups of Bubblegum lipstick, Cult of Cherry lipglass and Feline liner so you know it must be serious. Those 2 colors go together wonderfully and look incredible on their own.

^^ Yeah, I am going to say that Archtype is nothing like Myth either. Archtype is sheer with a gold sheen, and well, Myth is not.

I've been swinging back and forth on this collection. I don't know how everything will turn out on me but hearing about archtype just makes my heart do a happy dance... Gold sheen.... Mmm...
