Regarding the problems with blending PPs that someone else in the thread had, I find that application is sooo much easier if you use a 217 brush or similar. I have a synthetic one from The Body Shop which is great for the purpose. Also, IMO the PPs are usually harder to blend when they are brand new - you have to sort of break the hard seal that's on top of them. If that makes sense.

Eco tools make an amazing concealer brush that i use with the paint pots. its flat and goes into a point. paint pots go on like butter when I use it. Paris Presents: High-Quality Bath & Beauty Products at Affordable Prices I have the travel size one. any concealer brush works, but this on is pointy in the middle which makes for perfect application.

I went to check this out yesterday and think I'm only going to get Cut to Fit. I like Tissueweight, but I think I only need one new highlight shade and I'd rather get Hey from Prep for Color. (I hit the pan on Solar White, so I'm pretending that that means I need a new highlight shade LOL).
The coral lippies are pretty, but I bought the two lip glosses from les pop ups de Chanel while I was in the mall, so i think my lip product budget is tapped out for the week.

I just tried Coral Crepe without the Too Faced primer and I applied it mostly with my finger and blended it out with a brush. It turned out MUCH better. I don't know how long it would last on my lid like that, but it looked the way I was hoping. Maybe it would hold up nicely, because it was a bitch to wipe off, even with makeup remover. I don't know.

I'll play again when I have more time on my hands. I was thinking what I would do with this if I wanted to put shadows on top. Starting to think of Hot Hot Hot, Straw Harvest and Nanogold.

That sounds about right

I am on the fence too. Then again, I wish i could find something similar, but a tad bit darker.

The face charts for this collection are so pretty! I love Archetype and Kraft. Though I've never met a brown lipstick that looked flattering on me. I can still admire the face chart though.

This collection is still majorly a pass for me. I have enough coraly pink lipsticks as of now and non of the new ones are tempting me. I also want to skip the blush as I have Nars Deep Throat and will get Hipness later.

I'm curious about the paint pot though. I have 7 paint pots and use them everyday as my base/primer and never experience creasing. I've been through 2 Painterly's already! I use a large flat brush to apply. I even go swimming with my makeup and it's still there, lol! I'll have to see this paint pot swatched next to Rubenesque before deciding on it.

My favorite face chat is Pret a Papier. Of course, they had to go and use Sumptuous Olive, which I don't have, so I will have to swatch that tomorrow and see what it's all about. Only 24 hours! Can't wait for Instant Chic!!

I think if you use a primer like UDPP TFSI or others, it really defeats the purpose to use a paintpot anyway. All you are doing is layering on primers and the shadows will eventually not blend well or show up correctly.

I thought that a paint pot was considered a base, which is suppose to enhance the color of your eyeshadow. While a primer, like UDPP, is suppose to make your eyeshadow last.[/quote]

They are CONSIDERED A BASE. Just like UDPP is considered a base as well, not just a primer alone. Some people rely on the UDPP alone to bring out the color pigmentation and the lasting effects. Or vice versa, like myself, I don't own a UDPP, I just use a p/p and it works fine as a primer and base. Not everyone uses both.

Now of course this does not work for everyone, bc everyone's skin reacts differently to different products.

10 minutes ago she was cropping photos, so I'm sure she'll be done soon.
