Guess who bought Tissueweight and Instant Chic?
I had been thinking about them, so I went and bought. No self control.

They are both very pretty. I knew Instant Chic is a bit similar to Ripe Peach (coral part), but who can say no to a pretty sheertone blush?

I also knew Tissueweight is a color I would use everyday. Hope I will not be tempted to buy backups.

You're right about the colors too, the difference between the two is obvious in your swatch pic.

You're welcome. I'm glad it helped out. When I took the p/p out and the shadow I was like "these do look alot alike". But then when I swatched it there was big difference. The main thing was the flash the Expensive Pink has that the p/p doesnt

what are some good e/s dupes for this collection? I wanted to go pick them up this weekend or order them online.

I made the mistake of swatching Instant Chic today, it actually swatched more pinky than I expected and somehow made its way into my bag! I'll have to try it on tomorrow to see if it goes orangey!

I bought Coral Crepe p/p. Tried it out today, paired with grey e/s from the smoke and mirrors palette and it looked great! I usually didn't like the look of greys and blacks but the Coral Crepe makes it so pretty

Also tried Coral Crepe p/p as a blush and it's really pretty as well

. It's a little dry to use it that way so I have to blend it in fast.

Tried Made To Order and Dressmaker, Dressmaker. I prefer the color of DD but I couldn't spread it evenly on my lips. Will definitely work with a gloss, but I want lippies that could also work on its own. MTO consistency is great, but I'm still unsure if I like brighter lips on me

. Have to drag hubs for a 2nd opinion :p.

Maybe I wait till To The Beach collection is here (2 more weeks) and decide which other item(s) I'd like to have since I have limited budget.

I finally got my order. I had to go pick it up out in the boondocks after missing the delivery. Why does UPS insist on coming at the same time everyday? Anyway, I got pretty much everything. I took Garb off my list and I'm sorry about that now. Here's my thoughts so far:

Dressmaker, Dressmaker l/s - maybe a little too light for me. I didn't love this one.

Made to Order l/s - I wasn't sure about this one either. In pics, it looks so similar to Dressmaker and I thought maybe it would be too light too. But I really like this one. It is very different from shades I usually get. It looks like something that wouldn't work on me but I was pleasantly surprised! Very pretty.

Kraft lipstick - nice shade but is amplified a lip plumping formula? I don't know if I'll keep this one.

Instant Garb - In the pan this looks too light to me. I probably would never try it on if I saw it in the store in person, but it looks really well with the look I wore yesterday. I usually go for shimmer blushes so this one seems very matte to me. I don't think it is the end all of me but since it works so well with made to order I will keep it.

Tissue Weight and Hey e/s - Yes I read here that you don't need both but I wanted to try them. I definately like Hey better since it is more warm toned. Tissue Weight was pinker and much more sheer so I would definately go with Hey over Tissue Weight.

Coral Paint Pot - this is darker and more orange than I expected but I like it and it will be fun to play around with it.

Gazette Grey - I don't really go for grey e/s but I was curious. I tried over what was already on my eyes from playing with this order - coral paint pot with tissue weight over it. I added gazette grey to the outer v and I liked it. I think the warm tones of the coral made it a bit more wearable for me. I don't know how much I'll use it though. Still need to play.

Fold and Tuck lip gloss seemed like a slightly lighter version of made to order to me. I heard that Fold and Tuck was like Red Devil and at first I thought "No way!" But after putting on Fold and Tuck, I realized it does have a similar feel to it. But Red Devil is more of a reddish coral and Fold and Tuck is a peachy coral.

Pret a papier - reddish bronze brown color - pretty but I'll probably like this better for fall.

Brown Paper Bag nailpolish and Originality - I rarely buy Mac Nailpolish. I don't thnk I've bought one since they had the square bottles. These seem really tiny to me. Anyway, I thought Brown Paper bag was like Siss nailpolish from years ago. But Siss was more gold. Brown Paper Bag is nice but I'm wondering if it may be too close to my skin color to stand out. I guess it would be a nice nude for me. Love originality -sparkly brassy gold color.

Oh and I got the zoom lash sample - thanks Goat, Goat, etc. and they must have accidentally put Runway Fave in my box. Yikes. I will call though.

I thought Garb would be a tan color but it is looking more orange so I will have to try this one soon.

edit - oops - I forgot to mention I got Cut to Fit too. - I need to play around with this one more. Oh and I got Archetype l/s too. It reminds me a lot of Gilty Kiss which love but without the sparkles. Gilty Kiss is more gold while Archetype leans toward silver.

If anyone has the old Sorceress Palette from the Holiday collection in '09, i would def check out the Hold My Gaze color as a great dupe for Gazette Grey. i copied the Pret a Papier colorchart since i loved it so much using Hold My Gaze instead for the lid color(it's a grey-toned color w/ a green sheen to it) and it was gorgeous! I think Hold My Gaze is a much-neglected color but unfortunately is LE which i think is much like Gazette Grey but GG might be slightly darker.

BTW, the Sorceress Palette may be available at your local CCO!! saw it there recently along w/ the other Holiday '09 palettes.

I caved and bought Tissue Weight yesterday. SO glad I did. I love the pinky, peachy sheen to it. It's a soft gorgeous color. I like Hey, too, but they are two completely different colors and I don't see the need in comparing them. TW is so great with other items in this collection and it will be a great color to wear all summer and with Memorabilia? Hell yes. LOVE it.

No I didn't get CTF. It's not a color I will reach for often. Gazette Grey, I passed on. I just hate it. My gut and my heart just say no. Can't dig it.
