The lid of the palette was see through.Since you have seen them in real life can you confirm which lid is see thru- the lid of the palette or the part covering the insert?

Do you have to purchase an insert for the palette to be magnetic? Or can I just use the empty palette as isThe lid of the palette was see through.
hmm.. then that might change my decision. I thought only the center divider was see through and the lid was black. The lid of the palette was see through.
thank you. I did see these. I thought you guys meant one with birds view so I could see the actual insert and "cavities"Piarpreet! Here are 2 posts I found with pics. There was another one with a link to one of the Mac international sites that had a pic but I couldn't find it. I think this is the same pic anyway.
No. I think that is what we are all waiting for. If these are showing up in some stores maybe we will see more photos soon. Oh this must be the longest wait ever!thank you. I did see these. I thought you guys meant one with birds view so I could see the actual insert and "cavities"
i do too.... i dont care about saving space! lolAm I the only one who likes their eyeshadows in single form?
LOL. I'm glad I bought some backup e/s palettes. I toyed with getting a blush palette or two, but I bring my blush to the office with me for touchups. Depotting them would prevent that, although I love the look of the six-palette.I keep vascillating between excited for the clear lids and then then annoyed by having to purchase an insert separately. In the end, my reaction is therefore = meh
He showed me the case and the insert separately. The palette itself had the clear lid, and he said it was magnetic on its own, so it essentially was like a Z palette. The insert didn't have any sort of lid of it, and I didn't get to hold it myself, but it didn't look like it would be magnetic on its own. Since the case on its own is magnetic, maybe they didn't want back to back magnetic surfaces, if that makes sense lol. He did put the insert it for me to see, and it basically looked like current palettes.I'm thinking the insert has the clear lid. Maybe the poster just saw the insert and didn't see it inside the case. Maybe she can clarify. I'm hoping the insert comes with a clear lid. Maybe we can just buy the inserts if we don't plan to travel with it. I really want ones with a clear lid.

Okay, the fact that it is magnetized moves my meh back to interested again. I can see getting one to start, loving it and going apey for more. If there is no insert, how many e/s (regular size) can b squeezed in, I wonder? He showed me the case and the insert separately. I think my cousin fits 28 e/s in her current palette, so I assume it'd be somewhere close to that #Okay, the fact that it is magnetized moves my meh back to interested again. I believe the Pro-only customizable version fits 24 e/s.I think my cousin fits 28 e/s in her current palette, so I assume it'd be somewhere close to that #
