Thank you everyone! I decided to get another one to depot a few more blushes They save sooo much room.
Oh dear. I just picked up Peony Petal to finish my Tres Cheek collection yesterday and I already had an old style palette in my MAC cart. You're making me second guess my decision. It's so pretty. What to do, what to do?!!
I say do it!!

Ohh pigments in palettes! That sounds cool- how do you get them to stay put in the wells? Can you post a photo?

These palettes confuse the hell out of me. lol
So you have to buy the palette AND inserts?

I want the blush insert to show up on the website already! My local store was sold out when I picked up my GD items, and they were sold out after MM launched and I picked up my palette with the 15-shadow insert. Mama wants to depot more stuff! lol

Similar process, yes! It takes a little more patience, though. I use a candle warmer as my heat source and it takes a little longer for the pan to warm up. Alternatively, it seems that the newer blushes (i.e. Styleseeker, Pro-longwear blushes) have the glue covering most of the pan, so it's best to go slow when prying the pan from the plate. I accidentally put my thumb in Whole Lotta Love. I was able to repress the powder, but still, it's kind of a risky business lol.

A double-sided Pro Palette that accommodates two inserts. See-through lid lets you view shade choices while keeping product secure and protected during transit and storage. High quality, glossy black plastic.
I love love love the new concept but when is it coming out? I really love the new inserts as well that you can put the cream products in MAC has been missing a lip palette solution for a long time. Any idea what the price on the duo will be?

I can't wait to haul these! I'm assuming the old palettes are back to Mac- able... Can't find any of my boxes to determine this for sure. I know the old empty quads were.

Yes, they are, but you probably get more money when you sell your old ones (if they are in good condition).

Thank you! :) i actually do the non-heat approach but if its similar, the non-heat method should work just fine just longer lol

I want some for Christmas to depot my e/s.

But not at £14 per palette and then £6.50 per insert. I just can't afford it, especially as I have enough eye shadows to fill 6/7 palettes. I guess I'll have to look on here to see if anyone has any of the old style ones for sale cheaply as I really need to depot them as I'm out of room and will be going away to Uni next year, I don't want to be bringing a million little pots with me.
